I use the hammer bros from mario 3 they work fine but how can i make them NOT JUMP DOWN. they always jump into land and im not sure how to fix it. thanks for any help

Thats how the SMB3 Hammer Bro's work, unless, you know ASM and all those cool stuff, you should make a request in the requests saying, "The SMB3 Hammer Bros. that DONT jump down from land.

true but i find some jump down and others do not so i thought it was X/Y position. but i guess i can ask for one thanks

I went and commented out these lines but deleting them should have the same effect..
Code LDA $1570,x ; \ makes hammer bro jump
CLC ; |
ADC #$77 ; |
AND #$E7 ; |
BNE NO_JUMP ; |
JSR SUB_GET_SPEED
LDA $1686,x
ORA #$80
STA $1686,x
With those not read the hammer bro doesn't seem to ever jump up or down, but I'm not sure if anything else should be commented/deleted. So this is a half-ass fix but i don't know sprites well enough to be anymore help.

Its been a while since I've used them, but don't think boomerang or fire jump like the hammer brothers do anyways... never tested bomb...

If those lines are in the other Bros then yes it should work for them to I think.
