Fine then.
I just need to finish the last four measures of the two drum channels and it should be good to go.

Also 200th post.

ooo nice, welcome aboard yo =P

Although I hear slightly off parts, namely volume issues, it's still really close.

Edit: added MSL and Lui37 to the claim listing

Huh? I thought you guys were using the Forest Interlude by Core. Link. Because I personally think it sounds better than the other one. Link.

Note: You must first present yourself before you're actually accepted into this project. We will judge whether or not your skill qualifies.

Just have to finish setting up the ARAM instruments and I think it's done. I'm sorry for the lack of vibrato on the main melody, but the music slowed down :/

I'll wait for a confirmation before submitting it.

The lacking vibrato isn't too noticeable, This is like almost identical aside from very very very minor volume issues which always seems to be the case with DKC ports. I'll add this to the main list. Great job.

Thank you! Submitted.
EDIT: I was wondering why the music didn't appear in the waiting list, then I realized I forgot to put the .bnk file. Resubmitted.

Well during my hiatus I decided to take on a port I've been wanting to do for years now...

Turbo Man/Grav/Sawk bugged me about it for a while as well as a couple others to make a sampled port of this song.

DKC2 - Stickerbush Symphony (WIP)

That portamento in channel 2 is what's gonna kill me because of SMW's retarded way of handling pitch bends and considering the original bent by quarter steps |:

Slash_Man, #3 seems a bit too loud.

Also, you can do the bends with specifyng gain values on the start of the note.

#1 seems also a bit too quiet

Sounds amazing already. Keep it up! I can't wait to hear the finished version. Take your time on this one :>
Ok, so now that Idol round one is over.
Here's my DKC port.

DKC 3 - Northern Kremisphere

I hope I'm accepted to the project with this.
Well, I pretty much like how this sounds :)
Only, one problem she cleans them with... wubs the drum part on #0 is a bit too quiet. (The explosion and then the drums I mean)
Hey Luigi, I like how you think you know what you're talking about.
Please shut the fuck up and don't show you ever again in this thread, nobody likes your criticism and nobody likes you. If you're talking so smart about how a port should be done, I'd say port it yourself! The drum isn't too soft, especially the ones in the beginning, try to listen more carefully you dumb bitch.
Christ, please get the fuck outta here.

Tone down on the direct attacks, would you? I agree that Luigi isn't correct providing that kind of feedback, but it's not hard to say "thanks for the feedback, but unfortunately I can't agree with you".

Anyways, the port sounds extraordinarily great, and you definitely took me by surprise! The volume effects are nearly flawless, no, everything is nearly flawless. Impressive, considering that you did this in the span of Round 1's week.
Thank you CrispyYoshi.
Oh, and sorry I was being so rude, but he really got on my nerves.

So, does this mean I'm accepted to the project?
If so, how does claiming work? Is it like, I want to claim this because nobody else did or something? Do I have to set up a list?
Well, I think I'll finally get accepted to de project.
My last try at Cascade Capers
I fixed the too loud echo channels and the too loud vibraphone.
I'd like to claim these.
Here you have a peak on what I can do unsampled.
It's still work in progress. It might be a little soft at some parts, I'll take care of that.
Also, yes Mining Melancholy, I'm accepting the challenge.

This is the most beautiful port I have ever heard from anybody.
Improved my skills. That took about +/- 20 hours to do.
Need I remind you of this again L370?

Why don't you pick one that others haven't claimed? first of all

second, it's very off in many places, volumes are way off, chords are sour, pitchbends are too early/late. Putting volumes greater than $26 isn't exactly a good thing either because its already super loud. Just because you port it doesn't mean you're necessarily qualified to be apart of this project. You need to learn how to work with dynamics and articulation a bit more before you move on.

In other news...

Stickerbush Symphony WIP (NEW)

Almost finished, just need a couple passages at the end of the song.

He should be able to port what he wants...

anyways: very good Luigi370, I really like how it's coming out so far. Don't let Slash discourage you, because you're definitely improving a great deal. Keep it up!
