Is this layout of any interest to anyone?
What's in it
Font: Calibri
Font Size: 12
Theme: Super Mario Bros NES
I hadn't seen a layout put up for grabs in a while, and if someone claims this whose looking for a layout, it'll be one less request needing to be filled.
It has padding at the top and bottom, so you don't end up with your signiture overlaying the level or your post overlaying the Super Mario Bros.
I removed the clouds as it looked odd having them at the bottom but not at the rest of the background. But if you want them back, I can modify the layout so it has it with it all the way through.
Anyway, if you want it, you can either quote this, or PM me and I'll send it to you.
CodeNothing actually edited here, but it is possible to be done.

I need a new layout.
I want this as my side image.
I want this as my text box.
I would like my font to be Comic Sans MS.
I would like my quote and code font to be Times New Roman.
The rest is up to whoever makes this (if anyone). Extra awesomeness points if you give it a unique twist/gimmick/etc. =D

Woo new layout time. I know business in this thread has been slow because people have been requesting very basic layouts, so let's see if this one is complicated enough.
Focus:
The main focus of this layout is Whitney, yes, the gym leader from Pokemon. This image should constantly be to the bottom-right. If you don't like what I did with the picture, you can work on it yourself using this. Background? I'll leave that up to you. I tried fudging with several different colors in Photoshop, and something pinkish red looks best, although you may find something better. Feel free to add a pattern or something if you'd like.
Postbox:
I suppose this would be the most important part, since without it, the text would be floating around on the background (which is ugly). I don't have much in mind for the postbox itself, but please make it not clash with the background. If you go for a pinkish red background, a white postbox with a reddish pink (red being the dominant color) might look good, although I'm not sure of that. One thing I need you to do is to make the postbox right where Whitney's foot cuts off. I don't want any cutoff (we all know how bad cutoff looks). For the quote box, I'd like for you to do what leod did: get rid of the "Originally posted by" part and put a colon at the end, like so:

I decided not to do the "Originally posted by" thing because to be fair... font rendering across browser engines and operating systems is not exactly the same and this method is therefore unreliable. I also felt your gifs were better anchored to the bottom right than top right and that this background pattern I found just screams Whitney.

Anyways, i'd like this as a BG image link
with the blue color repeating above it and maybe if you can do it extend the clouds a bit.
For the text box i'd like a nice font that looks like the TF2 font, but the text BOX needs to be red-themed.
In the bottom right, i'd like this image.
I also want a signature in which i will put my random list of medic quotes. Yay! Please PM me if you have any more questions or if you want to do it but something needs to be changed first.

Using a float for a background image?
Well, that's original.
...though I'm not sure if an image of that size is appropriate for use on internet forums. It seems quite stretchy. |
