Congratulations to the winners. I played Lynnes's and Aqualakitu's levels, and they were both well-done.
Wow, I didn't really expect this. o_O
Congrats to the other winners, and thanks to everyone who played my level. Also, my first trophie. \o/
Congrats winners! And Lynnes your level was amazing!

Good job everyone.
DRAGONMANGUYDUDE! I disagree with his results.

(I didn't really expect to win, I just entered for fun)
Wow! Never expected to Get 14th place. Congrats to the winners!
(typed from an ipod)
41st is a bit better than what I expected to get, but I knew I wouldn't do too well on this. I really could and should have done a lot more with my level. At any rate, congratulations to the winners! I can't wait for the next contest!
Yep, pretty much all the levels I thought would do good, did good.
I placed a few spots higher than my estimated 20th, too.
why couldn't you all have scored my level like st

The winners were pretty much as expected, but surprisingly enough, I didn't play either of the second or third place levels, nor Agent Q's and Darky's.

Good work everyone. Great contest.

Also, don't be too hard on SyStemkrash, he's been super busy. :<

FAKEDIT: realultimatepoweraaaaa
Congratulations to all of the winners in this contest. I'm actually relieved that my results weren't included, because I was a bit scared about how I did my judging. I'm also sorry that I delayed the contest for about a week or two.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention that Zildjian is a smart-arse for guessing who the mystery judge was.

EDIT 2: I just looked at my judging and realized how screwed up it is. Should I upload the original version that may look better?

...what? Did I accidentally leave my test level in the IPS patch I submitted? The actual level was supposed to start from Yoshi's House, not the yellow dot above it (which, by the way, is level 106, not 104).
Wow, 38th place, I didn't know I was that good.:)I can't wait to enter the next contest.
I'm pretty satisfied with the results I got for my level.
Who, better than exepted. 12th place is a good place, I'm happy. :D
Congratulations to all the winners, see you in the next contest. :)
Congradulations everyone for doing so well!

Although I'm not suprised, I can't pretend I'm not a little disappointed with my scores (27, firepheinix? Really?). It is pleasing to see though how widely the range of oppinion varied for my level; I knew I wouldn't get 3rd or better so my ranking doesn't really matter that much. I've stated a coupple of times what my ultamate goal was with this entry, and honestly, the lower my score, the better my point is made.

S.N.N.: I was always under the impression you were strongly against levels like mine - seeing you're 40 made my jaw drop. Thank you so much! U are the awesome :D

Once again, great job everyone!

edit: firepheinix, there is a mistake with my scores- SNN gave me a 44, not a 40. Supertails gave me a 39, not a 36. (on a side note, this makes your 27 that much more disgusting)

Can someone link me to the winners' videos?
I kinda disagree with the results just because I don't like the idea of putting a complete story line in one level and stuff, but the levels that won were honestly pretty fun.

Honestly my favorite levels were HuFlungDu (it had a really inventive gimmick) and Time Traveller's. I didn't play through jesus' level but it seemed like it would be fun, even if it's a lot harder than he makes it out to be.

I'm surprised I did as well as I did. I realize the red buzzy beetles are bad (they aren't there in the actual version of this level) but I'm curious about some of the comments about "bad level design". Is it just the entire gimmick of the level? Or could I make it look more interesting or add bonus rooms or...

To be perfectly honest I don't like the boss fight. The idea's cool but even I find the section with the tiny corridor to be too hard and I'll probably change that in the final version. Also the fact the eeries turn almost invisible is kind of bad haha!

I'm glad the judges found my level fun though even though it's a lot harder than most games. Most of the stuff I make tries for a Super Mario Bros 2/Battletoads/Contra difficulty where it's fiendishly hard but it only makes you more determined to beat it.

wow that was a long response

I'm against levels which use bullshit techniques to incorporate fake difficulty. Yours managed to contain genuine tough tricks which made it not only fun to play, but actually rewarding after you finished it. That, and it looked pretty.

Yep.

Congratulations to the winners, to everyone who participated and all the judges, i'm quite satisfied with my 22th place, and i agree with all the judges notes. In the start, i was doing everything with calm, but as the contest deadline got near, i rushed. and even i got no time to implement everything i wanted, and even not enough time to fix some issues, the plot too lost the concept i was aiming for, yeah, the rush was the main cause of everything :/ there is always next year, i will remake vanilla rain (i will start it now, just not to get rushed :P). congrats to all the winners.

Is there some kind of inside joke with this guy? I really don't see how it is ranked so highly and, uh, aren't there non-vanilla graphics in it?
Wow! I'm amazed I am 4th place. Anyways congratulations to winners and everyone else, it was a great contest! A lot of nice entries even though I've played about half of them.
Congrats to Lynnes for winning, and everyone else who participated!

Next year I'm entering for sure. I didn't enter this year because I'm on a sort of break from SMW hacking but I'll almost certainly be back for next year's contest.
