Hi
I got bored with the another proyect (super mario epic 2 DX) so i continued with a year proiyect i paused to make super mario epic 2 DX. Well, now this hack, inspired by a lot of smas hacks, is my biggest proyect (for me). This hack will be divided in two parts (and maybe a vanilla version).
Plot:
Bowser has returned again (again) and he joined the survivor smb3 and smw troops and some new troops to attack mushroom kingdoom. In the attack, they catched again (again) the princess peach and luigi and trowing down the stars that gives ilumination to the earth with the koopa clow car giving an eternal night, afortunatelly, the earth temperature did not go down yet since all the stars are in different zones of the world. Mario has to defeat bowser again in oder to stop bowser to control the entire world.
Characteristics:
Custom music, graphics, sound, blocks, simple asm modifications (Most of them based in smas smb3)
Screnshots: (gallery, click to see all the images)
(Only the statusbar color from overworld level will be the final)

Nice screenshots there. I always liked SMB3 Graphics. Although your status bar needs a little work.

Nice SMB3 GFX, they look cool 
...and as Koyuki said, you need to work on your status bar.

Hi
Finally I come again with this hack but now, I came from zero this hack and I made a lot of modifications:
1. New and perfect status bar (Smb3 style)
2. Degree of dificult reduced
3. Removed patches like animated coin, lavafix...
4. SMB2 goal spere changed for a SMB3 goal
5. New elements for the overworld
6. Fixed some bg and also updated
Things to do:
1. Make a toad house
2. Maybe a lotto game
3. Reinstall some sprites
4. Release a beta (Soon)

Hi
Finally, I prepared my hack for a beta release and its near from final release since there is like 20 levels or less for the end of the firts part. You may want to download here:

As you know this hack is inspirated from the best of SMB3 and SMW (plus the possiblities and other things and hacks). So you may find some things that seems similar to SMB3
