I suppose there won't be a co-op sprite in this game. however, I'm still going to be working on one.

I can now do dynamic sprites too. Remember, most anything is okay, as long as you provide graphics.

Uh, well, I think with the dynamic GFX bosses will look better, but the Graphics will be damn hard to make (as long as it's not just rotating/scaling).
However, I might think up another boss, with dynamic GFX, but don't expect me to finish anything..

Well I've yet another announcement for this hack. This will be a "multi hack". Yes, I've made up a new term. Basically, it will include several mini-hacks in one. I'm keeping the name smw hacks 65c816 since nearly all of the hacks included will have a lot of asm in them. Obviously the tutorial section will be the most important.

How do you think I should set this up?

1.) Tutorial hack first, which after completing unlocks all the other hacks.
2.) All hacks available from the start.
3.) Other.

I don't want to give out information on things other than the tutorial hack. So far I've got ideas for 2 others.

Whoa, that's cool! Turning this into a multi hack is pretty clever. I think you should have the tutorial hack first then beating it unlocks the rest. If you think about it, it gives the player another challenge.

Also, have a ZOMG 999x999 dynamic sprite sandwich available at the end.

Also I changed my mind about not telling information on.

1. ASM tutorial: What I've been working on. you know the deal.
2. Super Blooper Redeux: My own version of super blooper, I didn't know it already existed untill Sonikku told me so, but eh I want to work on it anyway.
3. (Unnamed Kirby-ish hack): Play as kirby, jump, float, hell-- even eat enemies and absorb for powerups if I feel like doing that. Include some awesome ports and cool bosses from a very neat series.
4. (Unnamed Wario-ish hack): Not really too sure of the story here. Just think wario in SMW.
5. SMB2DX: My own version of smb2. I've already started with several of the sprites and bosses. I do plan on releasing everything made for this.


I guess I'm open to suggestions for gimmicky asm hacks to include.

Anyway, new hack idea that my cousin gave me a long time ago that some other user reminded me and I can finally use!

COD: Modern Wariofare- will probably replace the generic wario hack I had in mind. I've got ideas for some awesome bossers already such as monty tank. Then finally a big surpise~~~~
Touhou- No real name yet, but I've been studying up on some touhou and with some help from Blumeire, Cerfolo, Lucas, Amos and Counterfeit, I've already got a good start. Expect some wicked cool adventures in the land of Gensokyo soon :3

I love you. Sounds awesome! Also, the overworld looks great. Just don't have a path leading Mario to swim in the lava! :P

Plus, I love how there will be so many different things in this hack, and I'm really looking forward to its release! #w{=D}

That's a mighty fine overworld you got there. I like how it's "sectioned", i.e. there's a sakura tree forest, a normal forest, a dead forest, a lake, and a mountain region. My one nitpick might be it looks kind of blocky- try using 8x8 tiles 1, 2, A, and 1A instead of just 11 for the curves, it'd definitely look more circular. Although you may have done that on purpose to fit more stuff, I don't know.

Also, wondering how a remake of SMB2 would be a minihack, since that game has what, 20 long levels?

Overall, however, this hack looks fun.

Have you ever played Final Fantasy 7?
There you walked over everything and it don't looked bad.

Btw, Ixtab you should make the edges use another tile. I don't like the little brow thingys at the edges.

@UMA - Walking over trees and stuff won't matter, thats simply indicating that Mario went through a forest or something.

And I agree with leod, you just need to fix up those side tiles, other than that, great work.
