A group effort between myself and mario90.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MlCsk2oPL6s&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MlCsk2oPL6s&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

This is something I think (hope) people have been wanting for a while.

The Autobomb functions as it did in SMB2. It moves left and right and every so often, turns to face Mario and shoots flames. Mario can jump on it to ride the Autobomb over dangerous terrain.

The Autobomb will not change direction or shoot flames while Mario is riding it.

Not reccomended for use wth slopes for two reasons...

1) The Bowser statue fireballs it shoots have a glitched death frame when killed by sliding.

2) Mario falls off if the Autobomb goes down a slope.

This has been finished for little while now, but we decided to wait for C3 to release it.

nice, it could be used well for smb2 type hacks.
Thank you! This is awesome. I will definitely be using this in my hack.
Interesting. This may be useful for SMB2 styled hacks.
Thanks for making this - I've been waiting for one of these for a really long time.
^ this. I wondered when somebody would make an Autobomb which acted pretty much like SMB2's one did. The one in the sprites section just... didn't cut it really, IMO.
Well done on this. :)
All right, nice. I might just have to use this in my hack. By the way, you can fix the sliding death frame by opening the flame sprite in Tweaker and checking "Can't be killed by sliding". If it's supposed to die when slid into, you could check "Don't disable clipping when killed by star"; that might work, but don't quote me on that.

Yes, indeed. You both did a very good job in making this. :)
Thanks everyone. It was quite annoying to get this thing to be rideable without any glitching.
Two global mods saying we did a good job... this makes my day ^_^

True, but thats an issue with SMW itself and not something I can do with the Autobomb sprite. Even then, Mario still falls off if hes riding it while it goes down a slope.

And I did just quote you =P
Thanks for making this, I will definitely use it in my hack! :D
But a custom projectile would be nice, one that flies faster than the bowser fireball and actually has the size of the fireball in SMB2. But thats just nitpicking. Great job guys. :>
This is another awesome sprite. Great work on this. An autobomb is very useful for a SMB2 style hack.
I too have been waiting for this sprite, thanks for making it! I'm definitely gonna use this. =D
Well, I honestly can't say that I've been wanting this sprite, but it's definitely cool.
You guys did a good job on it.
This is really useful for everyone making SMB2 styled hacks. Great job on this. =)
This is great, NamelessProtangonist! I'm definately gonna use this if I hack SMW! #w{=D}
