It has been raining like mad here, and it's supposed to be the worst on Halloween. Too bad, I feel sorry for all the kids that will have to stay indoors instead.
Wiimeiser why not just do one of the following:
1 - Get some fucking willpower and don't post useless shit, especially garbage that isn't open for discussion.
2 - Start a blog and tell them your useless shit. The people that actually care will read it and the people who don't care wont be bothered by it.

It's just like .. the point of the Bar and Grill isn't to randomly dump stuff like questions or whatever unless said questions actually have some value to everyone (eg. "this was my day. has anyone else had a day like this?"). It's an open chat where people talk to each other about whatever. Your random questions are senseless and don't belong in this thread.
As others (and even I) have said, start a blog if you want to rant about stuff or bring up totally irrelevant questions.

This last week seem quite packed with things for me todo. For the first time, those were things I wanted to do rather then what life kept throwing at me. So it was nice spending time with my dad and playing some games. Worked a little bit on my RPG project so all I need to do now is work on my next essay's research and get prepared for Tuesday.
This is the biggest essay/report of the class and after that it is all easy.  (The comp professor makes the hardest essay in the middle so it is like going up and down a mountain. That way you know you can save your time extension for that essay if needed.)

Well, Hurricane Sandy is here. I'm surprised that I still have power. I suppose that it's only a matter of time until I lose it, due to all the trees in my area that are likely to hit power lines, but I may as well make the most of it and use my laptop like there's no tomorrow.
Anyways, I think that I've officially become a lurker. Again. I post occasionally, but I don't post that much. I still like SMWC and (most of) it's userbase, but I don't really chat/post as much as I think I should. Maybe I should find a way to contribute something...

I can feel the effects of Hurricane Sandy here in Ohio. It's been pouring all day, and on my walk from the bus stop to my apartment I swear the wind picked me up briefly.
Glad I'm not living on the east coast; sorry for those who are.

I can't believe Hurricane Sandy is still strengthening, even though it's so far up north in what should be cooler waters. Just...wow. Hoping for the best for any peeps on here in Sandy's path.

I think I'm in the same boat.
It seems like I post only once or twice a week most of the time now, while other things have me completely distracted; I've also hardly touched my mini-hack for the past month. I don't even bother going on IRC anymore, and I'm not sure why, aside from just general boredom.
Maybe I'll finish up my hack sometime, who knows.

I have also become a lurker in recent times, mainly because of the all consuming behemoth known as real life; I hate that guy! However, I do make an effort to visit here daily and keep up with the general word on the street.
As for hacking...well, I found Python and never looked back. Almost. Except for when I go driving (To elaborate: Bus Driver sits and drives, I sit. Close enough.) or walk down the street, I hear "No Easy Way Out" playing and cry for the times long gone.

While I am not a lurker at all (and just got back into IRCing again), I definitely have not hacked in a while. I really should get back to it, especially since I actually have space for it now.

So, the wind is picking up outside my house, so im assuming Sandy is going to make sleep impossible, judging by how loud the wind is. Of course, its a hurricane, and i should be worried about things other then me sleeping well, but eh. Geothermal goes well with the wind.
And i don't think ill be lurking anytime soon. It's just...something i can't see myself doing. Hotel california.
And IRC, that too. Glad to hear it still exists.

Taking only two classes this semester was the best idea ever. Not only do I not feel overburdened but scheduling is much easier. Except for the fact I still have a problem of not really even having a schedule in the first place. Oh well, at least I've been remembering all the work I need to turn in.
Right now class is "too quite" and it has me feeling strange. As if I was free to do whatever for a good while after today. The feeling won't last for too long after a week. I'll be in the middle of the big report then.

Well, no power at my apartment. Staying with my dad who has power for now. No work for at least another day. Well...I should be thankful that's the worst I got out of Sandy. On the plus side, I get a mini vacation after my first week of work.

Darn it all by the light of Ablu! I couldn't sleep last night at all again and I ended up missing class for the first time this semester. Last time I at least could make it but I ended up missing an appointment. 
I hate my lack of a schedule.
