Hello, Lemmy here.
I'm back.

Can someone help me with Paper Mario 64's flickering problem? It's very annoying to see everything dissapearing and just seeing the background. I tried 1964, but in the start, or in dark places, Mario, Princess, Magikoopa and Bowser are just shadows instead of being a bit darker. Nope, Glide64 doesn't solve it and neither does Direct64. Someone help me, please?
Use Project64 and Glide64 video plugin. Set the settings like this:

Or you could grab Project64 1.7. That might help drastically.

Yes, PJ64 1.7 is the best version, as now the game has no flickering problems.

Any idea how one could solve the same issue in mupen64+?

I have same problems like flickering when I go in city and castle is north. I will look in it which version is working.
Here's how to fix it in project64:

Use rice's video plugin. Set it to openGL.
