I do not know whether this is the right forum, but I recently noticed an error with Youtube that causes the progress bar to 'jump' back when uploading a video:
Is this my computer or is it just an error with Yutube?

So you use the "upload without progress bar"? I use that as well, and yeah, I noticed that error too. It's an error of YouTube, and just as always, they're pooping on the errors, but maybe it will get fixed soon.

Yeah, I notice that too when checking on my upload progress. It's really damn weird, and I'm pretty sure it's YouTube.

I'm uploading a video right now, and yep, it's happening.
I noticed the videos are taking a billion and 1 years to process but that's probably just the size of the,.

Try using Microsoft Video 1 or something better for compression in your recording software instead of Full Uncompressed if you've done so already. (for upload time, idk about the progress bar) Also,

Yeah, YouTube is being a pain again, isn't it? Though for some reason, it also jumps forward on mine at times as well as back, and I'm using compressed video files too.

I hate uploading videos on Youtube.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to upload a video, I go through at least 10 "unknown errors" while uploading, and after what seems like OVER 9,000 TIMES of trying to upload again and again, it finally uploads.
I'm still trying to upload a video I made yesterday.

Same, Youtube keeps giving me these errors like:
"Video failed to upload" and other errors!

(sigh) He didn't say anything about Youtube FAILING on him, it's just about the progress bar jumping around while uploading.

YouTube is just completely broken beyond belief! I keep getting the message "an error has occured please try again later." They keep "updating" the site but they still won't FIX THE DAMN THING in the first place!

Maybe it just hates you. It's only failed on me once while uploading a part of my LAOSE LP.

The only time I have gotten errors on YouTube is when I upload them and then while they are uploading, put my computer into hibernate. But then again, I haven't uploaded videos in a while...
