Yes, as then it wouldn't even be running the code on the right scanline. At minimum the entire last line of the layer 3 status bar would get cut off and potentially display things that weren't intended.
Wonder if that could be replaced with a second IRQ.
I don't get it. Does it need more time to do everything and that's why it's waiting for a new h-blank?

(if so I don't see why it needs to push more then a and the register flags)

Also if it ends one scanline early you can always increase the scanline count it triggers at.

I've tested the private build FuSoYa sent me and so far I haven't noticed any bugs, glitches, etc. Everything worked just fine. Although it's still recommended to enable FastROM features before saving to the ROM for the first time, to achieve maximum effect.
What would not be effected if you used an older rom besides blocks/sprites/patches?

BTW, do you know if any thing else, like exgfx revolution patches, is being nominated for inclusion? Though if LM keeps including popular hacks, I think it should have a general asm patch menu to manage them and show where they are in the rom (maybe a exgfx style pre-compiled patch insertion thing even. Crazy? Concerting what LM does anyway I wonder... )
