I never played Cave Story, but from what I've seen here, this Balrog is clearly not a robot. To me it looks like a kirby-like creature inside of a box and there are holes in that "box" for his eyes/arms/feets. ;) But then again, I know nothing about it anyway. xD

Alright then, Balrog will be a toaster next time and Toroko will be a female, eventhough games and characters are pure fantasy to me.

Its amazing how far mario hacking got,for example take toad's world,it has such wonderfull graphics,im ipressed,you put lot of effort into this,you dont have to play the game,just the screenshoots tell you that the game is awesome

I'm currently playing this hack on my psp. I think it's very good, but there are some points which could be improved: blind jumps, secret exit in ice world not working :S and some other things i will tell you soon, maybe i'll write a review.

Huh? All secret exits were fixed within version 1.2. Make sure you have the latest version. Also, where are those blind jumps you are talking about? I'm pretty sure I have placed coins in those places.

you're right, i was playing version 1.1 when i wrote that message, forgive it... sorry 
on some levels (i can't tell you, they are many) there are blind jumps, at least from my point of view... sometimes i didn't know if i was going to lose one life or power-up.
well, if no one apart from me let you know maybe it's my problem.
In addition, i finished "toad's world" and it's really a very good job, so congratulations!!! i don't usually like icy levels, but your ice world is very funny; anyway i should tell you that the last levels were somewhat easy, though the last boss gave some problems

Last levels were somewhat easy? I clearly remember very vividly that you have to defeat the Blargg boss in the last world (who is ackward to fight) and the one level where you have to take teh P-Switch to the very end in order to reach the secret exit. Sounds quite difficult to me, which is one of the reasons why this is such a great hack.

i left speechless, its not just a mario hack, its a whole new game, i would definetly spend money for this if it was a real game, good job man!
