Is anyone else getting any error messages from the new update? No matter how many times I redo the update it keeps on giving me the same problems, meaning I can't access the game. I know the answer is probably "reinstall the game", but before I make the hassle I'd like to know if it's actually the necessary fix and therefore worth doing.
The error message:

Yeah, there have been some reports on issues with ATI cards. I'd recommend posting the crash data to the Wiki's Bug page.

You could probably find a fix on the Minecraft Forums.

Or use TMI's mode switcher.

(Although, it MIGHT have to do with the fact I was using snowballs cause punching them on a laptop isn't the easiest thing in the world...)

New snapshot with Jungle biome and improved Zombie AI, collision box is back, vines are climbable with a solid block is near them and mobs will appear from dispensers.

Why would they take ladders collision box away one week, then re-implement it the next?
EDIT: Also, I hate how the weekly releases are always in zip files. I can't get them to mod onto the jar right for some reason. :/

They brought back collisions boxes because every Parkour map ever was broken.

Spent a while making this. I spawned in one tree to the flatlands to start me off and obtained all the wood based stuff legit from there. I looted a nearby NPC village for some resources but most of the non-wooden stuff (i.e. stone/glass) were spawned via single player commands.
Here's a schematic if anyone wants it: Clicky
Here are a few shots:

So, I got Minecraft a few weeks ago (in fact, it was January 2nd). I've been really enjoying it, but I would like to use a mod or so to spice up the experience. I've been keeping my eye on the zipline mod, but before I can install that, I need Modloader. So, the problem is that whenever I attempt to install Modloader, Minecraft will never load until I get rid of Modloader. I'm pretty sure that it comes from the fact that I need to delete a folder called "Meta-INF," which doesn't exist in the file that it says to put the mod in. Aside from not deleting the file that doesn't exist where it should, I follow the directions perfectly. What exactly am I doing wrong?

Well not only because of the community, but because jeb actually fixed the bug (removing the collision box only worked around it).

Are you using a Mac or a PC?
If a PC, meta-inf is in minecraft.jar and you need winrar or something like it to open it.
If that's where you're trying, then I don't know.

The climbable vines will see so much use in custom maps, i predict.

I've found a very confusing confliction only with a TNT mod when it was both installed in the jar, and extracted in a mod folder. It glitched out, but when I played a minecraft.jar without it installed, said mod was in the game, because I had the TNT mod zip extracted. Try deleting your modloader folder after you install it in the jar.
Also, I love spawn eggs too

Honestly, by the time I've been playing Minecraft could reach a conclusion: I expected much, much more. Yes, the gameplay is one of the most creative. But so what? I personally do not think u just keep stacking blocks is good fun. Of course that's not all. There is also the possibility of killing monsters, build weapons and create a whole new world.
But for some reason, I blame myself. I guess I'm too boring. For some reason my critical sense says I should explore further the game. I spend more time playing and creating my own style of play.
For now my grade is between 5 and 6.
Note: I am not saying that the game is horrible and I did not like. I'm just giving my opinion.
