I don't know why people would care about their post count. It is more about quality than quantity.

Wow. I just came by and when I saw the wipe out I was like O_O.
I lost my stuff like layouts but that can be fixed. But you know, it's for the good of this site.

Aha, I remember I was supposed to go to the mall, and my only ride was my mom. I wanted to test the power, but she kept nagging me that she wasn't going to take me if I didn't go that second >.<

I doubt anyone lost anything important.
If you lost your layout, just re-do it. People are showing off with their layouts that they didn't do. Using the layout maker doesn't mean you made it. It just means you have no brain and can't even learn CSS/HTML.
If you lost your posts. Wow, just wow. The more posts you have just means that you have no social life and you have to lower yourself to make friends on the internet, which is kinda sad...

This isn't necessarily true, though I suppose it could apply to some people. I'm a frequent poster on forums, yet I still have a reasonably good social life. <_<
