I kinda forgot how the conversation went, but:

And the products of that conversation would be...
One Mediocre Kaizo level
Enjoy and whatnot.
The level took me around an hour to make (so far) and around 20 minutes to test.
I suppose the level can't be THAT difficult if I didn't give up whilst testing, but I still think this qualifies as Kaizo difficulty.
E: It's my first Kaizo level so don't go too hard on me.

Looks pretty good. Those people who say it looks too easy are probably used to using savestates. This looks like savestateless Kaizo to me.

I think that hack is one of those kaizo hacks that is not meant to be played with savestates, but only with rewinds (kinda like the first two levels of kaizo, and the yellow switch palace)

Just got in the C3 spirit, and these are screens of what I plan to submit to this year's C3. I originally planned to have this be for the Kaizo contest, but I've never participated in C3, and this way I don't have to worry about deciding between difficult and creative.

Mario is screwed. Just take my word for it.

The Thwomp is going through the pipe.

Clearly based on the original Punishing Pothole.
I did not want to give away the most creative parts. The level design is C|C like and is among my most creative I've made IMO. This C3, get ready for the sequel to Punishing Pothole!

Seems you forgot an yellow border on the small pipe. And the ground palette, join blue and green sounds odd, but it's looking very well there, though.
I have to agree, all of your screens are looking very creative, if they work as I mind.

Hey, judging by your screenshots, looks like very creative, IMO the only problem is the palette but overall it's very good.

Do you like this FG palette better? I was actually thinking about using it, but wasn't sure.

Ever since I first started hacking, this is only my first time using BG2 and BG3 rather than using yy-chr to mix FG tilesets (custom BG's do not count). Pretty decorative for a Kaizo level, I think.

That 3-up moon is obligatory. I shall find a way to make you need to collect it to later free the directional coins, thus taking advantage of the fact that it will not reappear until you get a game over. This is one of those levels where you have to die after cutting the midpoint.

This level will probably involve P-Switch puzzles. Also, there will only be 4 things to feed Yoshi with.

Probably some kind of mountain level, I think. Do you think I overuse this trick of bouncing the fireflower up using the cape?
These screenshots are completely vanilla.

Wow, how many kaizo hacks do you make at a time? It's like me, except that I'm not making kaizo hacks (and levels) that much, but I will get back to it probably tomorrow. Also, judging by the screenshots, it looks like it will be a fun kaizo hack.

Well, I pretty much lost interest in Holy Scheisse and to a slightly lesser extent, E=MC Hammer, so I haven't been working on either of them very much at all. They're not cancelled, at least not yet.
I don't like starting a bunch of hacks. It's kinda irritating. But sometimes I can't help it.
As for Block Abuse, I kinda lost interest in that one, too (this is what happens when a non-TASer tries to make a pit hack. Next time I get the urge to make a pit hack, I should just ignore it). Of those three hacks I mentioned, I'm most likely to return to E=MC Hammer.
Ever since completing Hertz Donut, I've been kinda indecisive about what kind of hack I wanted to make next, making part of one hack just to lose interest in it and make another one, rinse and repeat. Might as well call myself the Gentleman of Incompleteness just as Zeldara calls herself the Lady of Incompleteness.

Well, since I'm done with making pit hacks, I decided I might work on a short puzzle hack.
It will be more difficult than my last hack, with about 6-10 levels or less.. Does that sound like a good idea?
A screenshot of the first level ideas:

I love puzzle hacks. Any length for a puzzle hack is good, as long as it is good quality. It's hard to find quality ones.

I've gotten some other progress from another hack, its for C3 and I've gone nuts!
Meet my (not so) Secret (anymore) German C3 Kaizo hack (Thank KevKot for translating =D) Arschloch Mario Brüder!
Video
Yeah! ENJOY =D (its only like a half a month until C3 starts so think of this is a lucky spoiler)

The level isn't too bad. I don't really understand why you wanted to translate it to German though, and for that matter why you didn't change the TIME in the status bar (it should be ZEIT in German), or the COURSE CLEAR! message. The status bar itself is kind of bulky with how little area is actually visible behind it, but I suppose that can be excused.
