Pretty sure it was pretty much cancelled. It was really more of an ASM test then anything anyways...

No, Romi canceled it a long time ago, you'll never see updates of that hack, never #w{=(}

Kinda sad actually, Loved that game : (
Romi was involved in Mario Fantasy?
He made it.
Does anyone know the status of Hyper VII? I was doing an LP of it and didn't bother to check the next level and of course it was an empty ghost house room, it's the second level of the forest world 3. I just hope it's not cancelled or anything. I wonder if Hai Mari would be mad if I put the levels he didn't allow access to in place of that last one, I'm interested in playing them, especially if they won't be in the full release either lol.

As Leod said, Romi was the creator of the hack. In earlier demos where the Nintendo Presents logo showed up, it said Mior; which as I'm pretty sure 99% of the hacking community knows is Romi's alternate username.

It's doubtful Mario Fantasy will ever see a "full version," even if it wasn't cancelled, it'd be on hold right now; he doesn't hack much likely due to him being on his phone and rarely using his computer. I only know this due to the fact that he's mentioned it on Twitter.
I see. You know, I haven't checked up on Japanese hacks for an awfully long time. I wonder if anything interesting is ever getting put together, or if SMW hacking is becoming a bore nowadays or put aside due to everyone having busy lives.
Does anyone have a link to the awesome new hack raocow is playing now (S.Mario)?

Looks like a fun challenge #w{:>}

nevermind, found it by myself:
For anyone else interested

I dunno, it looks awfully plain. And these Mario VS Luigi plots aren't so original anymore.
Then I think is not more we can talk about? :(
Extra Mario Bros was amazing~ anyone know if ATA made any other noteworthy hacks?
*plays FIRE MAGIC level in S MARIO*
*gets to P-Switch and realises door is back at the beginning*
>50 seconds remaining

My reaction: "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"
Seriously, that is just evil.
Why not just get the midpoint and die? It's there for a reason...
Yeah, I did that but it was a bit dickish having to die.
Super Demo World did that once and got away with it. And that wasn't even a Japanese or Kaizo hack.
i dont think carol is going to finish super kitiku mario?
has someone ask him for permision to finish his hack i think he would be proud someone finishing his hack
No, he would never do that. I'm sure he is still working on it. I'm getting kind of sick of seeing posts asking about BM/SKM.
There is a discussion about that. Is where they people to STOP posting about Brutal Mario. I know that is a popular hack, but according to the dicussion closing the faster we wait, the better... one user even replied it's useless, so I suggest we wait.

Edit: I agree w/ MarioFan.

Some users just don't know any better or they just plain don't know.
