Yes, sounds pretty great!
When it comes to the connected-levels feature, it would be good, if one could manually delete one or more level from the list, since some rooms might be used by more than one translevel. (I got some in my hack, at least)

On another note, tehaxor69, you could also include a SNES <-> GBA converter, so it can convert SNES levels to GBA and the other way round.
(Those ports might have SuperFX, Sprite, and other problems, though)
Yeah, the editor has allot of promise and I hope tehaxor69 programmes all the features he mentioned!

And out of boredom I made a Tehaxor69 editor supporter userbar, anyone can put it in their sig's If they want without crediting me.

Lol.
I certainly support this editor and I will help (if possible, since tehaxor69 is pretty much the allrounder himself, not only the editor) him, in case he needs help. Actually, there IS a bit of help I've already done: Object and Sprite descriptions, as well as how much SuperFX they take and which Sprite Set supports what. It's the question, if he's going to use them, though.
Anyways, I would first make a userbar when the name of the editor is known.
Thanks xxxzzz1 and Yoshis Fan,

For converting levels between the SNES and GBA version, I planed on having a tokenized file that both versions can read.

Your very welcome!

I changed the mistake I made in the name, its now the proper "69".
#w{=D}
I can't wait to see the new editor tehaxor69 is working on.
Hahaha awesome.
i'm so anxious that i've stopped YI hacking at the moment just for the new editor.(No, seriously... going back to make my lem2 levels :P)

edit:Yea, I support tehaxor69's editor too.

Hallo i hope someone can help me.

I do not currently use the room with index 3B (normal is about 1-2), can i later change the Index-Number or the Level-Name? if yes, how?

I'm working on one Room I want to install in 1-3 in the room should be a middle ring, but in the "Mid Ring Editor" under "Select Level Number" is the Room/Index not available, can I change that?

Thanks for reading.

How do I change level names?
Use Kipernal's Yoshi's Island text editing program, Y.I.P.E.S. Follow the instructions in the thread.
Just curious, but I think I found something in Golden Egg. When I go down the list, there is an object that says,"FC Ex No Function: Affects nothing but increases the level data size." I just thought it seemed interesting, but has anyone tried it?
I don't think there's a use to this object at all. You can pretty much rely on what Romi wrote. Neither does this Sprite affect, whether the screen it's placed in can be scrolled to, nor does it do anything to the objects in the screen, nor does it have tiles, nor does it work like XFB. Furthermore, Romi did some ASM research on the objects, to make the labelling in Golden Egg as complete as possible. Feel free to experiment, but it's unlikely that you find a good (or hidden) use for it.
I have a little question:

I want to use a slow auto-scroll object in my level (highlighted object in the picture).

The description tells it moves towards right.

But it only moves to the right when I put it at the beginning of the level. As soon as I put it somewhere else (near middle ring for example) it starts to move to the left.

Are the coordinations the important factor for the direction? Or did I made a mistake?

Thanks in advance!

The auto scroller coordinates are absolute, not relative, look at this post on how to edit them.
I know some people are having more trouble finding a 1.0 ROM than a 1.1 ROM, so i just made a IPS patch you can patch to a 1.1 ROM that will make it a 1.0 ROM. Link.

I'm not sure if this has been answered on here before, but how do you change level names?
Use YIPES, by Kipernal.
You shouldn't. If you edit any text with YIPES, it seems that major text like the ones from death and the bonus game text breaks apart. USe a hex editor instead.
I just edited the level name, and the death text seems fine to me.
I don't think these have anything to do with YIPES, but:

What to do about this? If possible, I would like to get rid of that message, but I fear that YIPES may not be as user friendly as I'd like.

Just a blank slate where text should be. BTW, that shows up when I get a flower.
EDIT: never mind, I see there's a ROM map.

I think messages only appear correctly in certain level modes. (Check the header settings of original levels that contain message blocks or Kamek messages.)

Those automated messages are probably better off disabled for a contest entry, though (which I think you already realized when you mentioned the ROM map).
