This ain't about ripping ExGFX, this is about you favorite user who rips ExGFX.
My fav is Ripperon-X. He does alot of epic ExGFX ripping.

I think Ripperon-X too. He's ripped many useful ExGFX files I used when I hacked SMW before.

Myself.
Ripping ExGFX is a piece of cake, all it takes is dedication and free time. ;)

edi1754, because he rips such epically amazing backgrounds that are so detailed, they clash with every existing (or at least commonly used «_«) tileset on the site, and require those epic-but-never-used graphics patches.

Agreeing with this one. I just rip graphics because it's the easiest hacking thing after level designing, I think. It just requires some patience and good knowledge of graphics (which could fit in a SMW hack) of games.
But back then when I couldn't rip anything, I used many rips made by Buu, edit1754, Ripperon-X and Nekohdot.
Oh, and thanks for mentioning me, Neutron. :)

I should really finish some rips I did.
I really don't have a favorite ripper since I haven't really used alot exgfx aside from my own, but I've seen edit make some sweet rips.

Altough I do agree with this statement, I also partly disagree.
It really depends on the tileset.
Tilesets from some games are quite hard to rip, for example some of the tilesets from the donkey kong country series (like the mine level in dkc2).

Ripperon-X, edit and Hadron, their ExFGX are always very cool.

ExGFX, are pretty easy to do, it's just the palette choice imo. Anyway, Hadron and most of the mods and admins do pretty good graphics.

I agree with what Weeabuu said. It's easy if you know what you're doing.

Myself, no, not trying to sound self centered or self promote, I just rarely use any GFX from the GFX section anymore, thats all, I rip it/draw it myself mostly.
Edit: Looking above, it seems that many others also prefer themselves, hmm...
