So after a long time of tinking, I decided to redo Super Yoshi World: The Quest For donuts. Why? Because the main reson is that some of the early levels have poor level design, lack of custom stuff ect.

Also the hack had alot of bugs and I mean ALOT!

Oh yeah, I can see the changes...
It's good so far, I like hacks with yoshi as player.

ToDo: Make flagpole 1 tile higher.

All levels are going to be "orange-ish"? Or only the first ones?
Anyway, they looks good.
Not bad, but use some new graphics and palletes and add in some coins. Also do you have OW screens yet?

World 1 levels take place on a beach (instaed of the standard grassland) so all the levels are orange for this world (except for the castle)

New graphics are in the next world, I usually add coins when Im finished the hack (or demo). OW screenshots are in the next update.

Yes, yoshi can bounce on them but I will use some sort of patch or hex edit to fix it.

The overworld needs some work. It's square, uninteresting, and has some perspective errors. The palettes are pretty odd, too.

The castle itself looks pretty cool. The graphics are nice, and the design seems alright, though maybe a bit flat.

This thread needed an update. feedback is appreciated.
Base OW is cool. It has tons of wacky perspectives though. It also seems a bit empty.

The piranha plant looks cool, but the white mouth needs to be bigger in my opinion.

I suppose the OW, Title screen and intro are just there for now, because they're crap.

You can betatest if you want but I would rather if you would betatest when I have an actual demo out.(this is just an alpha demo) The first real demo will be out when I have world 3 completed.

Yes, the intro, overworld and title screen are just temporary.
Finnished playing it! I didn't find a single glitch. Great job!

I do have some nitpicks though. First of all: Playing as that Yoshi... Feels realy weird. His positions of moving are pretty weird. I recommend using this graphic replacement and remove the patch that makes you play as Yoshi.
Second of all: I hate the spin jump removement patch. I know your Yoshi can't do that right now, so use those graphics and you'll be fine.
Third: All the levels did feel a bit... Short. I know it's world one, but you could make them a little bit longer IMO.
Fourth: More variation in the graphical choices. All levels used the same beach graphics. Got quite boring.

Now for some things I liked.
First: I realy loved your level design. Unique levels, cool ideas and some nice concepts here and there.
Second: In the start of all levels, you put that Sonic stylish intro sign. I realy loved that idea and I think I never saw that anywhere else before.
Third: Having the abililty of doing all things Yoshi can do in original SMW is pretty cool. He can jump on spikeballs savely, lick and eat enemies and probably more. This will get removed if you use that player gfx I gave you. I still recommend using it.

When I first started this hack (look here) I was using those graphics but I got rid of them, for one reason...

I want to keep the SMW yoshi because he can do more stuff then the mario to yoshi graphics can.

So weather you like it or not, Im not going to get rid of the play as yoshi patch.
