I'm currently making a hack and have a few questions.
When making a vertical level, the background got all jumbled up at the bottom. The background had loads of different animated objects when it shouldn't have. Does any one know how to fix it?
On ExGraphics, when I got to insert them, its says that my /ExGraphics folder is empty, even though it has about 30 files in it. Why is that?
I think that's all for now. Any help would be much appreciated to me.

You must extract the GFX THEN you put in the ExGFX.

To fix the backgrounds,
Go to main/secondary entance and set Layer 1, 2 Initial Position to FG=C0 and BG=C0, repeat for all secondary entrances going to that level.
I think that works.
I'm n00b at exgfx stuff so can't help you with that...

So I don't set the FG=00, so what do I do?
And I have extracted the ExGFX, still the same problem

The same thing happened to me, but the animated trash was only about two tiles tall... I set it at BG=90 and that fixed it. If that doesn't work I'd suggest trying all 4 until one works, if it doesn't I don't know what would.

Does all those files named ExGFX(80 t/m fff)?
then it won't work.

Use:
FG=00, BG=60 if the entrance is near the top of the screen
FG=60, BG=90 if the entrance is near the middle of the screen
FG=C0, BG=C0 if the entrance is near the bottom of the screen
If you're having additional problems, try going to Level > Change Other Properties, and set v-scroll to slow or none.
If it's a vertical level you will have additional problems. Having Mario start at the very top will usually work. Having Mario start somewhere other than the top will require a lot of work in aligning. Try to align the level so that the background looks aligned in LM, and set the background v-scrolling rate to none.

For ExGFX, don't add .bin to the end of the ExGFX file's name.

Yes, as long as its based of an existing GFX/ExGFX file you shouldn't have to add .bin.

Make sure you also put ExGFX in the Lunar Magic and your hack folder
