Well, I haven't posted anything in a few days, but I have a good and bad news. The bad news is, I will pause on hacking since I lost inspiration and Fallout 3 is taking my time away. The good news is, I will slowly continue on this hack until I get more inspiration and ideas. Well, yeah.
Ok, just a quick, rather minor update. In a few minutes I finished the world 3 map, a desert.

Whaddya think?
Another update. Some sprite replacements I made in a hurry.

So, the following sprites are:
Slimey - the red slime, a Spike Top replacement
Mini King Sauser's Statue
Cyclop Blargg
SpikeBall Bro Bully
BigEyes - Swooper Bat replacement
HippoFrog - Dino Rhino replacement
MiniFrog - Dino Torch replacement
So, any comments? Oh, and should I put a spike on Slimey's back?
Funny Sprites! You neednt put a spike on it if you make an infoblock where stands, that you cant jump on it. Cool idea with the Frogs. The Rhinos really jump like a Frog 0.0
But a Spike is better. Why should hairs hurt?
So, yeah. The hack got accepted and it's something I'm proud of. If anyone wants to LP this hack on YouTube, he is free to do so ( if you do, send me the link so I can see it myself ( not realy necesary )). So, gonna pause hacking for awhile so I can refresh myself with ideas and all. And maybe gonna release some GFX if you guys want to use them.
OK, here we go...
I'M BACK WITH THIS HACK!!! No, no... that's not it...
So, some of may have played it, some of you not... but anyway... the main thing is I'm back with more screens.

Re-did the Yoshi's House message.

Re-did the 1st level so it looks more 1st level-ish.

More screens of the 1st level.

The brand new Chuck-a-Droids 1000.

I hope the P-switch gimmick here isn't too hard, because you have to kick and catch the shell over and over so it doesn't fall into the hole.

If I only knew custom sprites...

Gimme that Iron Pickaxe ( notice the Minecraft Diamonds in the ground? )

Congrats, your Bob-Omb has evolved to... Dino-Boom

The second level in the second world... Aero-Madness.

The Fuzzy replacements and some minor platforming.

This isn't too hard, is it? Ignore the messed up pipe bottoms.

Crazy rock formations.

New cave tileset.

Gimme that shell.

Here is the new and improved... something... that throws SpikeBalls.

Sorry Chuck, but your Mario is in another pipe.

And we end the level in a nice swampy area.

The Blue Switch Zone. Like the Yellow one, it will deny further passage when cleared, but the side exit is enabled.

Unnamed Lakitu replacement's 1st appearance.

Can you guess what Pokemon level type is the one above the Aerial Madness? You get a cookie if you can guess.
So, that's it for now. Hope I get more screens soon.
My GOD, it's so beautiful!! I discovered this hack by chance last night when I was looking for Rise to the Challenge, and I loved what I saw. But it looks even better now.

Level 1-1 is based on NSMB DS, right? Keep in mind that you shouldn't remake levels tile for tile. It's OK to be inspired by an existing level, but don't copy it.

Please keep it up! This hack could easily get featured.
Looks very nice. I really like the graphics you've here.
Nice levels, I must say. I also love your graphical style. It gives me a NSMB-ish vibe. Nice design overall.
Thanks guys. And don't worry Biospark, the 1-1 isn't a remake of the one on from NSMB DS.
So anyway, a quick update:

The Main OW with all sub-maps. What do you think?
I like the way this overworld map is looking right now. Also, are there going to be custom bosses in this hack? Because The original SMW bosses are WAY too easy for my tastes, as I can take all of them out in less than 5-10 seconds (except Bowser).

I agree. Most people beat them in a no-time (me too). Some custom bosses would be nice. Very nice OW, btw.
Thanks guys. Unfortunetly, no custom bosses until I learn Custom Sprites. May be in my next hack... but let's not rush it.
Double post... Woot!
So anyway, got a few my new tileset and a part of the new level...
Bramble Woods

There will be quite a few Pokeys in the level. Oh, and I was wondering if the "gimmick" in the second screen isn't a bit too hard?
EDIT: Maybe the second pallet looks better... I don't know.

Looks nice and I think it doesn't look too hard but it depends on which world it is.
@Wormer21: It's the second world...
Personally, I like the less saturated palette more. I always, for some reason, felt that forest levels should be more dark and less cheerful then the rest of the levels. But by all means, if you were going for a more upbeat atmosphere, then the first palette would be more suited.
So for world 2 it would be a bit too difficult. You could make more space by one tile to the left.
@KingGoomba304: Well, even I'm not sure what kind of atmospehre I was going for...
I put in the theme that plays on athletic levels but i doesnt really fit in. Same could be said for the normal grassland theme.
@Wormer21: Don't worry, I put in more breathing space for jumps to tone down the difficulty, but it still won't be world 1 easy.
Double Post... yeah...
So, it's a very minor update, and some news:

For my bramble level, I decided to use my native-like KarryShell Troopas with wooden shields and native war paint to give the level a more dense forest-jungle-y atmosphere, and I also added some decorations to the bramble set, like the hanging flowers, similiar to those from DKC2.
As far as the news go, I finally learned how to insert custom music, and I consider that an achievement. Now, only custom sprites and blocks remain...
More updates coming soon.
