Did you guys ever played it? In this game you had to build your own theme park and manage it, it was pretty fun. Talk about your experiences, glitches, your best parks, etc. Aswell as your favorite of the series and espansions. If you havnt played it yet, i recommend it.
Mine was RCT2, just because it got a more theme park athmosphere to it, and stacked objects.

Still have RCT1, save feature doesn't work though. I can still save rides but I can't load parks. Also Mega Park is <3333333
I also have RCT3 but it fails on my computer so I can't run it.
I would also enjoy to have RCT2, mostly because of the scenario editor.

Great memories here. I received RCT1 as a gift when it first came out, and had a ton of fun with it. It got to the point where I beat every scenario and unlocked that free plot of land though, and it eventually became boring. I didn't get much into RCT2, but I enjoyed RCT3 thoroughly. I just loved the amount of variety and such they included in it.
Still haven't gotten through the campaigns on it though. Eh.

I loved RTC1 to death, but there was something about the second that I just didn't like, even though there were a bunch of things in the second that were absolutely great. I never played the third, however.

Ah.. Memories. I played RCT1 the week it came out, and it was the best game ever to me back then. I finished every level. I bought "Roller Coaster Tycoon Gold Pack" some years back, it had RCT1 plus all the expansions. Never got around actually finishing a single level in any of the expansions. I Just messed around with the level where you have infinite money.
I bought RCT2 when it came out too, I thought it was good, just that I didn't finish a single level. I just made huge parks and had infinite money and kept playing forever.
I never got around buying RCT3, but I downloaded it and it was quite a great game.

Heh, good times. The last time I played a game in this series (RCT2) was in 2005. I definitely enjoyed it, and remember creating a variety of maps with it (one map was divided into 4 equal sectors each having a separate theme, another map would be full of greenery, another water-themed, etc.). I did try a bit after RCT3 after 2 got a bit old to me, but it never really piqued my interest and it lagged a lot on my computer back then (I had a crappy graphics card and my computer had horrible specs).
I'd definitely love to play this game some time again, although without using trainers/cheats. I was a big cheater back then :|

I used to love all Roller Coaster Tycoon Series. Fun times indeed. My favorite is definitively the Soaked expansion pack from RCT3. I used to spend hours building a lot of crazy pools.
I first knew about RCT1 in the time I had my first computer with a friend of mine who lives in front of my house. It was one of the games I spent a lot of time beating the scenarios.
I renember having a funny time with a park from RCT 1 called Millennium Mines. The park rating had to be 600, and near the end of year 3, my park rating oscillated from 595 to 605. I was like, omg, raise the rating, raise the rating! Then, in the end of the year I saw the guests clapping, balloons flying.. I beat Millenium Mines, with a park rating of 601. So close from failing.
Then, I downloaded RCT 2. I was kinda disappointed, because the graphic was the same, I expected a graphical improvement over the first game, but I still liked it because of the huge pack of attractions that RCT2 had. As with the first, I managed to beat all scenarios, but these took a long time. I hated a specific scenario called Rainbow Summit, where you couldn't build anything tall, but had to get 2,500 guests..
After that, RCT 3 was the Roller Coaster series I enjoyed the most from all three. I used to build lots of sandbox parks and enjoyed playing the campaign objectives. RCT 3 was the only game from the series I downloaded the expansion packs, and managed to beat all scenarios.
Then, I eventually got bored of these games, specially for the fact I've beaten all scenarios from RCT 1 & 2, plus all of the scenarios of RCT 3, along with its expansion packs.
Eh.. this ended up in a long post.. While posting this, I feel like playing RCT again.

I absolutely loved RCT2.
It had the best fanbase and it's still strong.
Favourite game of all time.

RCT1 and the expansion I played plenty. I knew it wouldn't dissapoint since it was apparently from the same guy who did Transport Tycoon, which was probably my favourite game at the time.

I absolutely loved the first two. Still play them every now and then.
Oh, and any of you want some new content for RCT2, check out the User-Created Expansion Set.

I have the Deluxe pack for Windows 98, which features the original RCT, Loopy Landscapes, and Corkscrew Follies. I've completed almost all of the parks for the original and have two or three done for Loopy Landscapes, but none for Corkscrew Follies.

I remember growing up with RCT2 and Zoo Tycoon, and moved to RCT3 after playing it a bunch at a friend's house. Recently I got the Soaked! and Wild! expansion packs, and while a little disappointed with Wild, I've really enjoyed Soaked. I really should reinstall them on my new computer.

I had part one and three. I really loved just building things, all kinds of stummoch-breaking stuff no one would ever enter for some reason..
I also really enjoyed just randomly digging holes and locking people up for no reason without any repercussions. I fondly remember those black and white coasters in the scenario with all the water and stuff. Ah, nostalgia, how unexpectedly awesome you are!

Agoraphobia and Claustrophobia in Diamond Heights, I'm guessing.
