Nice job on porting my song, to whoever did it!
Itīs kinda empty, but the original song was like that, so.. Eeh.. I dunno.
*Edit: Oh, that was actually planned to be ported too? I didn't actually know that .

I don't even remember you linking the MIDI for the completed version. If you have one, repost it here and I'll save it to my computer or something.

Jimmy: sounds very cool.
Bloop: I might end up porting your song (although maybe it wouldn't be the best, as I haven't ported many songs yet), since it seems I'll do the Oriental Castle. It'd fit pretty well to the level I imagined quickly.

Well, made this a while ago, it's a Fire/Ice Level.
The weird Chorus you hear at 0:04 meant to be a C with a tab slide or what you name it to a D. It only doesn't work well on a midi...

So, here's my attempt at porting Bloop's song:
Oriental Castle
edit: updated, sounds slightly better. Wonder if I can ever make it sound good, though...
Probably not the best, but I'll try to make it better. I'm not even sure it'd fit to an Oriental Castle...but probably could work in some intense areas. I tried to use some BRRs Kipernal made, but I didn't find them fitting. So yeah, thoughts..?

My family and I are with my grandparents, so I can't listen to it now.
EDIT: I had a listen to it, and... erm...
I made kinda other drums, and the harpsichord solo doesn't sound that right. And you let a little part out, but for the rest it sounds good!

Say is anyone going to port my song for me? I'm really busy with other things right now.

Hmm, I find myself wishing you had done more of a melody for the viola rather than the long whole notes. I also think the drums are a little too busy in the very beginning, considering the ambiance you're going for, but maybe that's just me. I do like the progression of the percussion section, though, and apart from the above comments, the song really does fit the environment well.

Hmm. Well, there's always room for improvement, isn't there?
The percussion in the beginning was even louder before, but I changed it for the same reason you gave. Although, I think it's all right as it is now, for it is supposed to be somewhat of a castle theme.
I might change the viola. I kinda agree, but at the same time, the long notes are the main thing that powers the dreariness of the song, if you know what I mean. I'll think about it.

So guys, it appears some people didn't clear the echo buffer in their songs. If you all could fix that I would be much obliged (Oh, and if you would test your ports on snes9x 1.52 in the future so that you can catch this earlier...)

Which ones did you notice? I thought I fixed them all but clearly I forgot a few.

Only one I actually noticed was 33, I just assumed there were more.

It sounds fine on my end--S.N.N. must have put a different version into the base ROM or something.
