I hope you realize how incredible vague "blocks" is in this case. Are you talking about the SMWC coins? If so, there has been no significant updates on them. Are you talking about the custom blocks in general? If so, they should all be working (with the exception of 302, which continues to do bad things).

I meant the custom blocks in general. Block 302 is exactly the block that I needed to work...

Should I help with the custom sprite tooltip stuff (.mwt, .ssc, etc.)? I can ask around for descriptions of people's sprites, and I already have ones for mine.

I'm going to revert to the older version of this block, since the one I copied that HFD posted seems to have been causing this recent issue.

If you want. I don't particularly care who does it, but it would be certainly be useful to have for the remaining designers.

Hm. What is this block 302 anyways?
Also, for the smwc coins: The problem where they get split when placed on screen boundaries has been fixed, and I think I know what is causing the coins to not work on vertical levels(although I'm not sure I could fix it easily)
Also, I'm not sure if I should make them spawn the blank coin tiles for collected coins when entering a level.

Mario only, no sprites block.
I wonder if it also works when Mario holds an item? Another interesting take on item babysitting.

Scratch that, I have no idea.
Mainly because I can't actually recreate the problem. The coins work perfectly in vertical levels in my test rom =/

Speaking of SMWCoins, I've noticed that if you collect a coin and then immediately die, you keep the coin. (That's quite clearly illustrated in the video I posted on my level thread.)
Hell, you keep the coin after getting a game over. Should probably be fixed. :S

That's not actually an actual bug.
It will happen only until the multimidway patch is inserted. Once that is done, many of the now existing "bugs" will be fixed

I just had a thought. Those people that are having issues with the SMWCoins in vertical levels... Could it be possible that the issue is caused by the emulators they use? I'm 100% sure that not everyone is testing their levels with ZSNES. Some might be using Snes9x or bsnes, and that may be why some people get the issue while others don't.

Nope, I too use Zsnes, without getting the error =/

If you can't replicate the problem on your test rom, then go and use the SMWCP2 baserom to test it.
Easy as that?

A slightly dated version of what I have is in my file bin; shouldn't be hard to miss.

I'm using Snes9x and it's been working perfectly fine.

Not sure if that's a problem with the block itself or part of the lingering block issue that apparently happened while I was away this past week. Anyway, I've been meaning to update that block because of a stupid little error that I've had sitting in there, so here you go.

-"Euphoric Eminence" (138 - Magiluigi) inserted.
-Blocks/sprites inserted.
Tidbit: the base ROM is using almost 200 custom blocks.

SNN: You should make the blocks and sprites available for download somewhere we can just download a big pack of them just so we can have them all. The reason is: when you use sprite tool or block tool, you need to have all the sprites or blocks or you lose some, and it becomes quite annoying when all you want to do is update one of the blocks you are working with, but you end up having to destroy most of your level because you don't have all the ASM files for the blocks you use, so you can't reinsert them and save.
