We have all of the global graphics in the latest base ROM I have put up. I would like those interested to download the hack, and play through the pre-set levels. Each sprite will be showcased there (don't worry about the FGs/cutoff/whatever - this is purely to show off the graphics). If there is a graphic you feel is horrendously out of place, or one that just looks plain bad, bring it up here.
Thanks. I'll leave this open for a little while.

I'm busy right now and can't check, but if any of these have already been changed, forgive me.
Boos - I'm in preference of foop's boos. They look more into the style.
Thwomps - Same as above
Volcano Lotus - Flareblade's look SO much better than mine. (It's on page 12 of the Global GFX topic if you didn't see it.)
Dolphins - What flareblade said

Mostly everything looks good, except the spinies look a little wierd to me.
The hopping flame: I don't like it.
and the fishing boo hardly looks changed.
Also, as I said in the Global Graphics thread the piranha plant's head needs to be moved over one pixel.

I'm confused in that it only seems like one set of sprites are inserted.

They're all there, bar about two or three. Enter the pipe at the end of each area.

I actually prefer foop's piranha, but it apparently didn't make it in because this thread got created a bit too soon, seeing how people are still submitting graphics.
We're rushing it a bit.

Not at all. Any graphics we filter out have the chance to be redrawn right here, right now. This is basically the "second" global graphics thread, if you will.
We'll keep repeating this pattern until we all agree on a set.

Eh, i'm not too fond of the Monty mole and the spinies. They look too... round and bubblish.

I did that, i meant, there's only one set of sprites included for everything. I know we got multiple submissions for single sprites but how can we filter and compare if there's only one set for each sprite shown off?

I guess it's good. When the level designs are ready, they will fit very well.
PS: I died like 3 or 4 times.#w{ }

Are you wanting me to give you the slanted and small pipe graphics?
(I believe you expressed an interest in them)

Oh, I see what you're saying.
Basically, the current ROM is "implying" that this set is finalized, even though it isn't. Going off of that, we're basically looking for sprites that don't fit in with the others, getting rid of them, and replacing them with new ones that do. I also have other graphics people submitted kept in a separate folder (such as foop's Thwomps, which seem to be preferred here).
TRS: Yes, I'd like them please.

Also, the new Mario sprites is not ready yet? Or are you using the custom Mario?

They're not ready yet, but they don't really need to be included here. If basically everyone prefers them when they're done, we'll use them. Easy as that.

I don't really like how blocky the powerups look.

they also use the new pallette.

Oh ok

Look at the Sumo Bros.' head, the white line is transparent.

The dry thingies need some fixes.

As does the Grinder.

And the Boo

IMO the spike beetle thingy doesn't fit in with the other graphics and the feet of it are cut-off when it's about to turn around :v
Also I'm sorry, but the fire flower and the feather don't fit the style of all the other sprites at all.
Neither in the way they are now, nor in flareblade's version, while I actually prefer the old ones.
EDIT:
I'd also like to see the other lil' sparky and foop's thwomp/thwimp, as well as foop's piranha plant

Went through the test level. Here's a list of graphics where I wanted to comment. If something isn't mentioned, it means I don't object to it right now.
Note blocks: Nice, but one of the frames seem to lack some anti-aliasing.
Info block: Looks like an old man who just saw the grim reaper. Maybe a slightly bigger smile?
Jumping fish: Slightly too much yellow, especially around the eyes.
Fire flower: Looks like it was ripped straight out of SMB3.
Turning blocks: Too big jump between two of the frames, ruining the illusion of rotation
Jumping piranha plant: The head change makes the propeller vine off-center.
Sumo brother: One of the head frames is miscolored. (Transparent instead of white)
Pokey: Is it supposed to have four eyes?
Spiney: It looks quite squarish, but not really bad. The spiney eggs look very wrong, though.
Bob-omb: Maybe we should move this sprite to the grey palette? I'm not sure if I like the blue highlights.
Para-goomba: The angled frame has too small eyes.
Jumping fire: If possible, a few red spots would be nice.
Thwomp/Thwimp: Interesting. I'm kind of divided regarding these ones.
Sparky: Is its eyes supposed to jump up and down like that?
Bowser statue: Looks more "derp" than evil. Maybe alter the eyes a bit to make it less ambigous.
Moving block: One could add various imperfections to it to give it more of a metallic texture.
Lava: The transparent pixels start too low, causing Blaarg cutoff. One could also fix this by simply changing Blaarg's init routine to move it a few pixels down.
Carrot platform: There's something about this that seems wrong, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the bottom is too spikey or something.
Dolphins: The front diving mask should be more white, less orange. Also, compared to the other fishes in the same area, it looks less shaded.
Urchin: I love its "Please hug me" expression
Vertical dolphin: ...is that a penguin?
Ninji: Unless those are meant for the carnival world: Oh dear god.
Big Boo: The covered eyes look off. Maybe have the purpleish area slightly rouded or something?
Boo buddies: I assume their weird colors are caused by an incorrect palette in the level.
Rex: The snout looks a bit too short, making its head look a lot thinner than in SMW.
Banzai Bill: NO REGGIESHRUG! THERE IS A GOD!
Mega Mole: That reminds me of Poochie for some reason.
Key: Maybe too fancy?
Mario: If we're keeping the original SMW graphics, please update the "running up a wall" graphics to match the normal ones.
Edit:
Just noticed. The P switch has a blue bottom, but the squished has a brown one.
