Actually a level where smb1 1-1 gets corrupted and such would be interesting. The player starts out and goes "oh great it's 1-1 again..." then with two seconds of playing weird stuff happens and you hit a warp block that completely skews everything about 1-1. I guess it could be called Classic Corruption (or Nostalgia Narcotics).

I like that idea, maybe I could do something like that for my level of the Abstract world. It could be, since it's the last level, something like "The end, and the beginning".
I have an interesting "Abstract" idea. I don't know if this is possible,but listen:

Ever played one of those levels where you have to kill all the enemies in order to pass it? What if there was a level where the opposite was true? You see a lot of dotted-line blocks, and jumping on them turn them into an enemy. As the level progresses, the enemies become more and more dangerous, untill the final boss, which could be similar to a Super Mario 64 Bully, but each hit makes it grow, rather than shrink. Once the boss reaches full size, it just blows up or something.

What do you think?
SO.....YOU PEOPLE WANT AN IDEA HUH? I may have just the idea for you.

How about a puzzle that involves the read.me file? It would be interesting to see how that could be implemented.I consider the read.me to be just like a level, except the adventure is through words rather than gameplay.

Also....why not try to make a scary level, one that uses ASM in wacky ways and has chilling music....just a thought....
World 2
Grassy Graves - A Graveyard with trees and Plants on it, Dry Bones and Bony Beetles, maybe some water with fishbones, too

World 5
Fireworks work - A level with enemies that throw fireworks (which explode) at you.

I had one idea...

W9 - Pinball Panic - A level where Mario is in a pinball machine and has to maneuver through various pinball-like obstacles (pinballs, bumpers, flippers) etc.
How about a tree that has been eaten from the inside by wigler's?
The idea is not from ocarina of time, more like whats hapening to the palmtrees here in Spain...

World 1
1-2- have a Giant Hill with chucks, hammer bros., Koopa troopas, and also make it easy for the player to find the normal exit and the secret be on a flouting platform somewhere sence its the 2nd level. ^^

There's a lot of stuff you should know about the hack before randomly posting here, I seriously advise you to read some threads arround this forum (especially the sticked ones) that way, at least you will know what you are talking about.
I has level ideas.

World 7:

Magma Madness - A level filled with lava, where possibly if you spend too much time directly above lava, you'll die. Plus it could have some cool HDMA effects, and all sorts of fire-based enemies.

World 9:

Dream Dash - A fast-paced level designed to look like a dreamscape with various enemies that also look dreamlike.

Dimension Disorder - A level that shifts between two "dimensions" every few seconds, sort of like with the Beatblock Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2, except that the "dimensions" fade out and that if you were to hit an ON/OFF switch, it'd switch dimensions.

Danmaku Danger - A level with plenty of bullets flying around, but not to the point where it might get unfair. May involve trace amounts of time travel of P Balloon mayhem.


And those are my ideas.
Maybe a level in world 9 called
"Mirage Mayhem"? There would be slight graphical changes to let players know which stuff is fake. Maybe stopped fake coins(no rotation) or flashing ground would help people around.

Ok look im sorry to for the random names but S.N.N.'s Revenge mite be a level that S.N.N. will come up to mario and say "im going to kill you" or somthing like that then start the battle (The final boss from the original ASMWCP) why not let him be a boss again?

It's not in my personality do issue death threats on people. That wouldn't be canon at all.

Because using the same boss twice is iffy, and we already have bosses lined up for this game.
Word on the street is that there's someone else from the first game who wants revenge on Mario, though. Someone who's all kinds of iffy.
The deadline is almost here, and since a lot of levels will probably open up, I'll leave a couple of ideas here for the new designers.

World: 1
Theme: industry (or grasss/industry)
Concept: a pipe maze level (the pipes could be part of one of Norveg's machines or something) with piranha plants and Venus plants. Some pipes will lead to shorcuts, longcuts and secret rooms with powerups and SMWC coins, I know pipe mazes are not very popular, but if they are designed correctly, they can be really cool.

World: 2
Theme: Forest
Concept: a forest that is being devastated by Norveg's army so he expand his industries, the level could contain grinders and chainsaws as well as cut-down trees to give the feeling that the forest is dying.

Had a random idea, and I don't know what world this would fit in.

From the start of the level to the end of the level, you must guide a sparky or the big sparky enemy to ignite a bomb that blows up walls, ignite a rocket to go to space, or maybe to electrify a door or something. Along the way, you have to guide it by switch blocks (the ExAnimated ones), and if the spark touches water somewhere, it would die and the level would restart from the section you were on. If you want to take this idea to the next level though, then maybe it dies out after a certain amount of time and you must use your fireballs to keep it going.
That actually is interesting. It would also work with fire-themed enemies such as hopping flames. Reminds me of Grenade Man's stage in Mega Man 8.

Do we have any vehicle-based stages yet, other than the roller coaster ones? A mine cart, jet bike, rocket barrel, submarine, spaceship, etc. would be interesting.

I'm fairly certain that the very last area of Kipernal's completed W8 level, Musical Mechanisms, has you use a jetpack. Other than that, no.

I know that you are putting a lot of interesting ASM gimmicks into your W9 level, so maybe you could have some kind of vehicle in there? Just a thought.
