I've been working on the Overworld for a while but I can't figure out how to make crossing paths. I know it's possible because there are crossing paths in the original game. So how?

The crossing paths in the original game have level tiles as their intersections. Another way to make a crossing path is to put two exit tiles immediately above and below the desired cross-over, and just have Mario skip from one to the other.
EDIT: Or, you could just use pipes. >_>

The level tile thing doesn't work. Mario just stops like he does in a
normal level tile. Isn't there some specific tile number that can be put in between the 2 crossing paths that works as an intercect path.

You can only have crossing paths if one of them is preprogrammed into the game (I think).

In that case, Jimmy, put a red tile right before and right after the would-be crossing path, like in Brutal Mario with the bridge fortress/waterfall level place. It'd be like an exit tile, only he'd be moving over only one tile in one submap (or overworld map, I dunno). Maybe a screenshot would help?

Yeah, I already tried that, I still would like him to actually cross that tile, but I guess there's no way around that. Thanks anyway.
