I asked that on the first page and he said it was ok.

I'm wondering... Why hasn't the second post been updated since Moltensnow's entry?

Secret Exit's "Vanilla Plains" level is not working for me. I get "BAD ROM" when I start it in ZSNES.

I'll port it to a clean ROM (I though it was clean), and resubmit it here in a while.
Edit: Fixed. Sorry about that.

I tested the patch out on a fresh copy of my clean ROM, and it worked. Please check if your ROM is clean here.
Edit: It also has to be applied to a ROM expanded to 1 Megabyte.

Yeah, I think something went wrong. I will fix it up and resubmit the working copy tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Edit: I actually got it done tonight - try this one: Take 3. This one can be patched to a clean 513 KB ROM. The resultant file should be 1,025 KB. Hope this one works.

Quick question: can I edit a boss level where it is written "cannot render" (by editing, I mean palette+background+adding sprites) by changing the header then put back the "cannot render" screen before adding it at the end of my level? Maybe it was already asked before but I didn't read all the pages.

Can we lock our hacks via lunar magic? I just don't want people stealing my stuff. Don't care that much though.

Like in the case of a long level or something?

If they think somebody used ExGFX to make something. You never know.
Always useful.

Oh crap, now I need to make a new patch, but I didn't use any ExGFX anyway, since I really was in the mood for a no-ExGFX kind of level. Trust me, even GeorgeVsSonic knows, he tested it for me when his level was done. But yeah, if you want me to make a new patch FirePheonix, just say so, best in a PM since I don't check here that often...

SNN's entry...so beautiful!
It feels exactly like playing ASMWCP, or at least half of the levels...
....So realistic...

I just played SNN's surprise entry, and I am amazed on how well he designed this.
Really well thought through on what you needed to do.
Awesome level. I hope you win SNN. And it's even totally vanilla. Really wow.
- ps - I did play through the whole thing. and I thought the level felt a bit short. Needs more screens SNN. Otherwise good job.

disclaimer: people shouldn't get too offended over that. All of the bitching I heard about certain levels in SMWCP led me to do it.
but yeah it's great I know.
