Wow. What have you people turned this thread into?
This thread initially started because two people started flaming a user on the IRC behind their back - there were no "nigger" or "gay" jokes involved. It was a flat-out flame, and someone reported it to the user, who then reported it to me. If you guys want to joke and all, fine. When you start getting to the point where you're literally ruining the experience of other users here and making them leave, then there is an issue. The last thing I want is to have the community replaced with people who do nothing but fling shit at each other. This is not the SMWC I joined, and I will not have it turn into this.
Here's the point of this thread, once again, summarized in three points:
-Don't outright flame people.
-Don't outright harass users.
-Don't treat users who aren't as smart or .. you know, English as you like shit.
That's it. That's all this thread meant to say. If a user finds something offensive, and they report it to me, I will deal with it. If it's an offensive sig, I'll remove it. If it's a hateful comment, the instigator will be warned. Otherwise, everything goes.
