It's funny because all the users who changed their numbers to a winning number don't have a chance of winning today if they keep it as it is.

Not necessarily, it has the same chances of landing on the same number twice as it would to land on any other number.
What would be funny though is if one of the numbers picked today is one of their old numbers.
aaaand no winners. Look out for the incoming flood of people changing their numbers to the winning ones for today!
Heh, no wins again. 4 times out of 5, no-one wins. A lot of people must have the same wrong numbers, I guess.

Nope. I doesn't work anymore. And NO WINNERS AGAIN!?!?!? I understand that this is a lottery, but still. I would say lowering the maximum amount of numbers a tad bit. Like, from 0-9999 to 0-8999.
He, 1995 is my birth year. :P And 2277 was my second choice. Oh well, there's always next time.. ||: and the time after that... and the time after that... :||

^ Those who know music know what that is :D
Was just about to say 1995 was my birth year buuut someone beat me to it. >.> I can't even remember what I have set as mine. :D
Maybe it needs to be programmed to generate more than 5 numbers.
Prize idea: Permission to see staff forums for a day. Something I'd like, and I'm pretty sure other regular users would like it too.

Yeah, I'd really like for XxXSuperSaiyanGundamDragonWingMarioSuperXxX to join our staff channel on IRC and have access to our YouTube channel as well.
Wait a minute. If that was mentioned inside the Staff Forums, that means that Kieran's agents during the takeover could have saw that.

AHH FOR PETE SAKE I WAS BLEEDING 1994 #w{x(}
Can't you change the lottery system so the closest person to one of the numbers gets the price instead.

Couldn't hurt if you implemented security tags on the staff forums.

Real lottery doesn't work like that. You have to get the numbers exactly.

Yeah. In fact, a few days after, I joined the IRC channel, found that they didn't change the password, and then ran away. Heh.
Well, without posting privileges, obviously.

But still, if you think it's a horrible idea, I'm jiggy with that. I'm probably missing some important thing an

Oh. Well that is a horrible idea. Er... Let's leave it at that.

So, #staff isn't set to restricted? That's pretty stupid. If it was set to restricted, only people on the access list could join. That's what I did with MY forum's staff channel. :|

"Oh, there appears to be a regular user in the channel. Given that many of the users in this channel have ops, I do wonder what the best choice of action may be? Should the user be kicked or banned from here? Nah, this undesirable visitor shall be left alone to spam in tranquility."

There is really no purpose in restricting the channel. As it is, it is rather secure, and if someone WERE to gain access to the channel, they would be handled immediately by any of the given ops there. The only instance that I could imagine having it as restricted being beneficial would be in the event of a staff member revealing access information to the public, and in that scenario, said information would be altered swiftly.
Lottery, huh?

Cool.

Already picked a number. Let's see what happens. #w{=D}
