Looks pretty good MrDeePay. Do those flames rise up with layer 2?


I have been suggested to remove outlines from eyes, so i'll do it soon. How does it look like?

Also i hope the hack will not be too much hard.
I don't really like all the black lines inside the sprite itself (around the mouth, arm, scarfy thing etc) either, but the thing itself looks pretty nice.

More attention will be paid to level design this time around, so it shouldn't turn out to be as much of a design mess as SMWCP1.

Also, that's the blimp duck I assume? Haven't taken a look at the concept art, but that looks pretty impressive so far. Apart from the eyes, the back lines don't actually matter too much to me.
Well, it does look evil, thats for sure, but its left eye looks a tad triangular, maybe make it rounder on the sides?Only other problem are the outlines, wich might be fixable by only having outlines on the outside of the grey body, or not have outlines/have dark grey and dark brown outlines...

I too don't, but i tried to fit it in the ASMWCP common style (even if i really don't like it).

@WYE: I hope: i was playing Weeaboo Manor in ASMWCP1... it's like FFFFUUUUUU!!!!

I like it so far. I remember in Smallhacker's concept art that he was green, but I think the grey looks pretty neat as well.

I think it should stay grey, because I remember the barker/ringmaster duck that's being proposed as the W5 boss is green.
I'd consider giving the sprite's dome a little bit of tuft, much like what Daffy Duck has on his head.

But pretty much the only thing all sprites have in common are black outlines around the thing itself, there really doesn't need to be black around every single body part.


I need to fix up the Grey Hopping Snift - I lost the original palette for it...

The first frame looks okay, but the second frame looks like it's just edited a little and not like it's been drawn specifically for the animation.
Also the feet are.. yeah.

I think the beak could afford to look...beakier. I know that's a vague comment, but remember that birds' bills are a combination of both nose and mouth, and thus should be a bit more substantial with respect to the rest of the face. What you have in the rocketing poses looks about right; of you could extend that to the other graphic, I think you'd have the face about proper.

Oh, wow, those poses are almost exactly how I imagined them. Awesome job!

Also, remember that the sprites don't have to be exactly 16 pixels wide; it's okay if some of them go over that if it really helps.
