I have released the second demo of Taomb!

So um... has anyone more or less completed this hack yet and is willing/able to give me some feedback? o.o
Also, yeah I'll look into the .asm file and try to increase the bees' speed.

This is a really neat hack. I think I'm going to Let's Play it for my new to recording channel once I get some viewers or not but I do want to LP it since it's new and good and all.

Did you get the secret exit in Sand Struggling, the level before castle #2?
It does have a secret exit + a level which won't add for the exit count :3
Also, I'd love to see people LP this, so go ahead (:

Let me allow to bump this thread for several things.
First, I would like to thank the staff for honoring this hack as the featured hack of the week. It means a lot to me! 
Also thanks to those who have played the hack and gave me some criticism on it.
Second, I'd like to give users a chance to give me some more feedback or just the opportunity to state their opinions without having to make a bump.
Third, I have uploaded another tileset for you. This time, it's the graphics (BG & FG) from the 3rd Castle, a water castle!
More tilesets are to come.

exit1337 is back, bitches.
I'd like to remove the dust from this thread, because I have a few things to say and show:
I was on a long hiatus because I lost interest in SMW hacking, but luckily things have changed now. I had once made a bad patch somewhere, even the second demo had it, and I had had to fix it all up, but I simply hadn't been motivated until I transferred everything and paid attention to all patches about a month ago.
The ROM works fine now. Thanks also to all guys who had a helping hand for me.
In the meantime, everthing I have done for The artifacts of marvelous birds is:
* A neat new overworld
* Decreasing the difficulty of the fourth castle
* Small fixes and improvements all over the place
And of course, the next level which is placed after castle #3. It is an airship and doesn't really belong to a world, but leads into world 5. (World 4 is an optional forest world in case you forgot)

It starts with tanks, but there are no enemies.. yet

You will meet this fellow, who seemingly has been promoted to general of the Tank Force!

Beating him, Mario gets shooted to the airships above.

Of course, bombs, bullets and cannon balls may not be absent in doomships.

And finally you have to win against the generals of the airship force in order to beat the level.

Saw a playthrough of the second demo a while back and have been excited about this hack ever since. Hope this hack is finished soon so i can properly play through the entire thing

We move on to World 5!
Frosty fields is the first level in this world. As you can see in the following video, the levels are getting longer and harder now.

If you prefer screenshots, here you go:

World 5 Submap. Ignore the top left pipe :/ It will either be removed or placed elsewhere

Fuzzies and especially saws are the main enemies in this level

I also made use of the platform sprites

This level has a cave, too. The foreground has been drawn and animated by me. Also, Taomb now has imamelia's multiple midways which are present in some other levels as well. They are not making Mario big, unlike regular midways

Saws, plants and munchers

This world also has frozen blocks with or without stuff inside. I also realized that munchers on frozen blocks are a bad idea, so I put them on cement blocks instead

That's looking awesome, I love the atmosphere of the level and the GFX combination. There are some small problems with the level, though.
At 1:04 in the video, what would happen if Mario did hit the question block? Would it glitch and die or something?
I also suggest that you remove the fireballs on spin jump, they can sometimes hit the ice blocks and lead to a unfair death.
After the player gets out of the cave he has no indication of where to go first, and if the player goes to the right, he's screwed. I suggest that you fix that.
The OW isn't also looking bad, but I'm not really a fan of the pipe on the top left of the submap, it looks really weird, in my opinion.
Otherwise it's looking great, awesome job there! :3
