You mean SMWCP? Just extract the ExGFX from the rom and search for the GFX you want. Look in the level with the graphics than press the Red Poison Mushroom to find out what the ExGFX Numbers are.
I'm sorry, I'm quite a noob. I still don't understand. Like, in the SMWCP rom, you can see the classic style goomba's for example. How would i identify which one of the compresses gfx files that is. IE, how do i know if it is GFX0E, GFX0F, GFX12, etc? That way i can know which GFX file to insert into my rom hack.
Edit1: Is there anyway to extract your overworld from your rom and insert it in another rom?

Check in options: Use joined GFX files.
It will extract file ALLgfx.bin
look in that file

How do you look in the file?

To look into the GFX##.bin files, you will need to download a program from the tools section named, "YY-CHR"

And using YYCHR I can view the graphic ids so i can replace them?

You don't edit IDs, you edit the graphics themself. It's like Paint.
Also, what happened to the last topic? Did it get closed or something?

Hi!
How do I make Mario go behind objects/things (like when Mario goes behind the large tree trunks in certain forest levels)? I believe I have to give layer priority to the given tile I want Mario to go behind.
What I tried was this: I selected a tile (a dirt tile Mario can walk through) in the 16x16 Tile Map Editor, pasted it on the third page, clicked "Edit 16x16 attributes", selected "Layer priority enable", and pressed F9.
I pasted the given tile in the level, and when I test it, Mario doesn't go behind it, as usual. When I go back to the editor, and check the tile's attributes, it says "Layer priority disabled", as if I had never changed that setting.
Is this how it should be done? Or am I looking for it at the wrong place?
Also, if such a thing is possible to do (which it should be), can this be done to anything (i.e., can all tiles be given layer priority, resulting in Mario able to go behind any object/tile)?
Thanks in advance!

Remember that after you change the settings and such of a map16 block you must repaste it over the tile you originally selected for editing before pressing F9.

It worked this way. However, by repasting it over the original tile, that original tile will always have layer priority on every level, which is definitely not what I aim for.
So, if you could, please, tell me how to make a layer prioritized tile which is completely separate from the game's "original" tiles, so that I can use the same "looking/acting" tile both with and without layer priority.

Paste the Tile anywhere on Page 2-4F (or Page 3-4F) and press F9 than add it from the Direct Map16 Access window (using the Add Objects Window).

Aaaaaaawhyyoureusingthataddmusic??? Use Romi's or Carol's!!!
You can't. You must to do this Hex Edit:
"$0096C7 (0x018C7) is the title screen (level C7) music."
You can do this Hex Edit to change the bank what the Title Screen's music uses:
"$0096C4 (0x018C4) is music Bank Used for the Title Screen. 0E = Overworld Music, 48 = Level Music, 59 = Ending Music."
(48 is recomended.)

Hi there! So, I'm using Romi's Addmusic, but whenever I insert a song that needs N-SPC Patch, I doesn't work. I mean, it gets inserted, but in the game it has no sound (I mean, not even sound effects).
Thank-you.

Have you tried patching N-SPC patch already to your rom? If not, then it might be the problem.

Even if I am using Romi's Addmusic it still doesn't apply it? Also, whenever it says "Insert was successful" my ROM won't load (I even set the freespace).

Unless you're using the one included in the tool. You may be needing this patch instead. As for the freespace, you could use this tool to determine a good freespace.
