OK Thank you very much^^
But I think I'm going to take that out because I wanted to do that because of the puff of smoke(It looks weird if the screen is frozen and there's that white thing).

Your ROM is probably broken. Did you use a clean ROM? If not, that may be the reason.

I used a clean rom. One day I just tried to play it and it got stuck with 3 weird letters in the text box. Thanks for the help.

Are magikoopas not compatible with the layer 2 smash sprite? For some reason he seems to morph any block he touches...concrete, floor, brown, gray, he morphs all of em. Is this a glitch or did I do something I shouldn't do around magikoopas? He's on a rampage

Magikoopas aren't compatible with layer 2 levels in general.

If I want to make a dark room level with ghost house FG/BG and sprites what kind of editing would that require? ASM, patch, block, or is there a simpler way to do that in LM?
edit: but the spotlight is specific to sprites ninji or mecha koopa, I guess I meant how do I fix the garbled spotlight if I want a ghosthouse setting.

...just set the level mode to one of the "dark level" ones and use the object and sprite ghost house tilesets?

By using the dark level mode instead of the spotlight sprite.

Alright, I've got 2 problems:
1) I made a new intro level with both custom foreground and background.
The FG when playing the game looks fine as well as in Lunar Magic. But the BG is different. In Lunar Magic the palette for the BG is fine, but when playing the game, the palette is all screwed up. Does anyone have any ideas?
2) When you want to record an intro level movie, I understand that the you're supposed to let Mario die. And I made Mario die, and after that you're supposed to start recording once the "Game Over" is gone. But when that goes away, my ROM Crashes, and I can't record an intro level.
Could someone(people) help with these problems?

here's a picture:

The left one is using a spotlight, with ghost house tilesets and BG/FG on register mode 0C and 11, but the spotlight mixes through ghost house sprites instead of the normal disco effect.
The right one uses register mode 0C and 11 doesn't have the spotlight, but it isn't dark. Both screenshots are on register mode 0C or 11
I want to have a dark room with a spotlight but how do I get the normal disco effect in the spotlight on those sprite settings?

Very noob question: How do I change Yoshi's color? Not palette, but his color. I can't find any separate sprites or placing it in a different x/y position or anything like that.

You'll have to place a Yoshi egg somewhere in your level.
I think there's a hex edit somewhere, but I can't find it. Maybe it's editable in Tweaker?

First off, do you want yoshi to keep his original skills?

I'm wondering what you need to do in a level to make it so Mario doesn't disappear when you use the green bubble sprite. I'm considering using it in this level I'm making but I can't have Mario disappearing whenever it appears on screen.

Try sprite memory (it's behind the Lakitu head) 0D.
