This episode. Man, this episode could easily be my favorite along with Last Roundup and Secret of my Excess. Pinkie was extra-adorable here <3.

And of course, smile smile smile. Epic song. I think there were three or four more songs, which were great as well.

And i'm glad to see the Baby Cakes and Dashie reading Daring Do again. This episode is easily top tier for me.

Well that was a great episode, the songs were really well done, and I couldn't stop laughing throughout most of the episode. As other people said, I'm glad they brought in elements from other episodes instead of just have them in one episode. Definitely one of the best episodes as of yet.

On a completely unrelated note, this is the best song ever.
Joining in the chorus of liking this episode!

And yes, the song was awesome.

No notable nitpicks (except the normal one about faces). Oh, and
the donkey searching forever for a one night fling kinda stretches it. Not a huge deal, but it certainly knocked me out of disbelief to go "what."

Just yesterday I was thinking about how Pinkie was getting really annoying this season. Got some redemption here.
This episode was ridiculously happy, everypony. The song in this episode is giving me Yoshi's Story memories.

Loved it all!

I actually heard the leaked version of this song and knew it was going to be in this episode. As soon as the music started playing I knew what was coming and actually memorized the lyrics. Kind of neat when you know what's gonna be said because it actually feels like you're apart of the episode and its spontaneous song moments if that makes sense. No AJ, Rarity or Fluttershy lines, but that's alright since the episode as a whole was epic enough as it was.

When I saw Rainbow Dash reading a book of Daring-Do in the library it gave me the most awkward smile of satisfaction. I guess because the show actually does continuation and I love it when shows do that.

Derpy in the snow globe was a good touch too.

The show takes away stress of the real world and you can forget about your responsibilities for 22 minutes at least. It makes me feel like a kid again! Never thought I'd look forward to Saturday mornings like this.
Very nice episode. The only thing that kind of bugged me was that
the moral could be misconstrued as "if someone just wants to be left alone the correct course of action is to keep bugging them and eventually you'll win them over"

though it's not that big a deal.
I don't usually feel the need to comment on episodes, but this one was... very nice, to say the least. (might as well spoiler)
Unlike usually, I very much liked Pinkie Pie in this one, the Art Shift bit was a nice touch, as was the comedy in general, and I can't think of anything to complain about as far as the story goes either.

So yeah, really liked this one.

The "Smile" song (which I unfortunately heard before this episode aired) nearly managed to bring tears to my eyes due to being so damn beautiful. Hands down the most adorable and heart-warming song in the series.
I really liked it when I first heard it (in the episode, suckers), but it's slowly losing favor with me.

The more I listen to it the more... shallow it seems. What about it wouldn't fit in, say, Strawberry Shortcake? It's just so sugary sweet without really seeming to say much. At least Fluttershy's I Love Everything told its own little mini story.

Contrast Becoming Popular. That's probably the deepest season 2 song; it explained Rarity's internal conflict during that episode well (also has a hefty dose of empowerment, but no one seems to see it that way but me).

Smile is an incredible composition, regardless. The first half is kinda meh, but then it gets better and better and ends beautifully. I could imagine hearing a similar sounding song in a (good!) broadway musical. Also, it's at least as good as Giggle at the Ghosties, so if it overtakes that as "Pinkie's Song" I'll be absolutely fine with it.

As for the rest of the episode, it was pretty good. Showing Rainbow Dash continuing to read the Daring-Do series was a very nice detail.

except it was "the sapphire stone" which she had already finished in the other episode =P
Though, I guess she could be rereading

Also, I loved this episode :3
Admittedly, I didn't like the song much, but the physics, logic and fourth wall carnage won me over(oh, and I'm a sucker for art shifts =P)

Though I guess in my case what made it even more awesome was watching it on a big projector with 30 other bronies =D

We had a local bronies meetup, a LANparty this time, and honestly I didn't expect more than 22 people attending, but to my surprise 33 people showed up
But hell, that just made everything even more awesome ^-^

I also managed to earn some cash(and two blindbag ponies!) on it, since I was the one to arrange it all :3

Except it supposed to be, it's like that "At the Gala" song (i think that's whats it called) where they all sing what they want. It's an establishing character song and from what i've seen from this show, it likes to have the characters concerned in the song to have lead vocals in it (again, i don't watch this show so correct me if i'm wrong). It would of been better to have the song sung by a different perspective but what can you do.

Oh youtube captions...

I lol'd. Way to make an "ass" out of the situation, Youtube. *shot*

Man, I am sure behind on watching episodes. And now Josdog4 is banned because of the typical crap that always goes on at Youtube.
Too lazy to look up alternate links. Bah!
Pretty easy to find torrents for all the episodes. There are places that give direct downloads, too...

if you can, it's better to support the show and buy the episodes on iTunes. But if you can't, then there are always torrents.
I am getting the Friendship Express DVD imported over here. One of the reasons I'm getting it is so I get the full theme, the Twilight Plushy verse really got me in the mood to hear it.

It will probably be on Youtube by the time I get the DVD, but at least I can rip it myself so I can get the quality as best as I can.

EDIT: 1080p MLP episodes with the PS Vita's OLED screen looks absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous in fact.

1080p ponies are a lie, it's just upscaled 720p.

Also gog damn now I nearly was up to date finally and then there's a new episode again already.

Watching 1080p TV rips on my 1080p screen shows significantly cleaner lines than upscaled 720p itunes rips, both downloaded, not youtube'd.

There is a bit of discrepancy regarding the 1080ness, though, as the hub HD airs in 1080i, not 1080p. It therefore just requires a bit of processing to fix, but all the data is still there.

Sorry, what do you mean by Youtube'd? Does uploading videos to Youtube drop it's quality somewhat? (I'm only asking since Youtube is my primary source for the latest MLP videos, I'd rather not run into torrents).

Also the info about HUB airing in 1080i is interesting, thanks for sharing,
