Pretty well done. Definitely if you were approaching this scientifically it's pretty biased towards MLP. But as simply a piece of media, it's fine. Really showing purpose and design in the way you construct your documentary would help. Honestly, I know little/nothing about film design, but it appears to me you captured the documentary motif (flow of visuals, and format) without really approaching the underlying design of a documentary (the responses you chose, the narration esp. language, the visual/audio match up,etc is really where this becomes clear).
In terms of raw production value, audio mixing was a particular issue. A professional audio track separates the good from the great. I'm not sure if this is HS or college, but either way it's worth considering.
In general, I liked it and you did a good job. The polish is really where it falters and that takes triple the reasonable amount of effort to really make it shine.

Well thank you very much for your input! Audio has always been my weakpoint and with my next project, I will hopefully be using separate mics and audio quality will be better. I hope.
holy aasdfasginginag

Starts out "wtf" but turns awesome around 0:50. Seriously, I haven't been this entranced by a pony song since Eurobeat's Discord. Never really liked most of Wooden Toaster's songs, but everything Stormwolf touches is gold.
Strange, I thought that track was one of the weakest ones WoodenToaster has ever participated in, simply because it doesn't really pick up until like 60% of the way through. Love Me Cheerilee and Pinkie's Lie were far stronger in my opinion.
so more videos using the same stereotypes.
Well, it's collegehumor anyways.

As for my thoughts, this quote by Kaijyuu sums it up:

I respect absolutely nothing else.

Also, good song. But Pinkie's Lie will always be the best WoodenToaster song.
*has never liked Pinkie's Lie*

Whatever I like about it probably comes more from Stormwolf than WoodenToaster. And actually, looking at my playlist, it's practically a match made in heaven; I have Stormwolf's orchestral remixes of both Beyond Her Garden and Nightmare Night with rather high listen counts. I guess I like WoodenToaster's strong melodies with Stormwolf's... whatever.

I am so usefully descriptive.

I never realised until now that he lives in the town Adelaide in Australia. The same town that we our vacation last year.
I found out about his songs back then and listened to them pretty often, unaware that the author lived very nearby.

Would've been fun to meet him at least. Oh well.
This episode made me laugh too much. Looney Tunes and Hulk references FTW.
Rarity's quite the manipulative bitch.

Don't know exactly how I rank this one yet since the stream I was watching was constantly cutting out. Seemed pretty okay but I'm not quite sure they justified the moral.
So will Fluttershy get off scotch free from all the other people she was really unfriendly to? Ether way, it was a great story with a great moral. It also gave Fluttershy some really needed characterisation, which is a plus in my book.

For the most part, her reasons were justified .. up until the mailman part, at least.

As for my thoughts on the episode, it was definitely one of the funniest ones in the series I think (I laughed far too hard at Pinkie burying her face in the ground and Rarity comforting her). Tons of references (Pipsqueak!), and a pretty great new "villain" to boot. I think the resolution came far, far too quickly though - someone as assertive as Iron Will really shouldn't give up THAT quickly.

Other than that though, it was an awesome episode.
Admittedly, I was mainly disappointed by the episode D=

Rarity and Pinkie's behaviors weren't "assertive", they were outright mean and unreasonable(as Kaijuu said, "Rarity's quite the manipulative bitch")

There were a ton of further details that hurt the episode quite badly, like Fluttershy becoming ridiculously mean in a matter of minutes, and that the minotaur was referred to as a "monster" throughout the entire episode(even at the very end, after it was revealed that he was a reasonable character(probably the most reasonable one in the entire episode, actually XD))

And hell, throughout the entire episode it felt like everything was unnecessarily exaggerated.

Sure, it definitely had its fair share of good moments, but all in all this is another episode that I'll have to exclude from my personal canon =/
Watched it again.

Better than my first impressions.

Rarity and Pinkie were both... bad examples at the beginning though. Seriously, I would NEVER want to meet anyone who treats people like Rarity did there. That's 100% bitch behavior. Pinkie's behavior was less revolting, but she'd still show up on not always right for arguing about clearly posted price changes. Given the cherry stand guy, bartering's probably a common occurrence, but the way Pinkie went about it was very much in "annoying entitled customer" territory.

Truth be told I think "Old Fluttershy" is far more mature when it comes to this sort of stuff than any other character on the show. Standing up for oneself is a fine moral, but only really when needed; someone cutting in line isn't worth the confrontation. The moral's easily twisted to support jerkass behavior, and the "acceptable" behaviors shown aren't all that acceptable.

Ignoring the moral, I really like Fluttershy; not all character development needs to be 100% positive. Best part of the episode is when her inner conflict about turning into a "monster" showed up. This episode feels like it was having trouble fitting everything into 22 minutes. They did a good job showing Fluttershy turning into a bitch, but the return seemed a bit too sudden.

Past all that, fine and dandy episode. I liked the minotaur guy. Jokes mostly worked. Middling season 2 episode for me, right now.
Lots of references woo! I especially liked the Mr. T reference 'I pity the fool!'.

Bon-Bon's voice was different again #w{=P}

Also I never thought I'd hear "Stoked" or "Give a Flying Feather" be said in a show like MLP. Perhaps they're starting to akin to the older audience as well?

Angry Fluttershy is hilarious. "Get in the back of the line where you BELONG!" was just too good. Lots of laughs in this one.

I can relate to this episode because I was always a shy person and admittedly a push-over. After working in a correctional facility you naturally get more assertive and learn to stand up for yourself. Just like Fluttershy here I realized I was turning into a bully as well and hated myself for it. So I stayed away from a lot of people too until I basically taught myself the difference between being assertive and being a jerk... Holy crap this episode is bang on when it comes to my past. 0.0

...And Hearth's Warming Eve still stands as the last episode that qualifies as anything more than "okay". This one wasn't bad, but...I guess I was expecting it to be better. Broken Aesop much? I'm definitely with Kaijyuu on the beginning part. Practically everyone in the episode acted like a jerk. As if I needed another reason to dislike Rarity anyway. The next episode sounds interesting, but it seems likely to be another clichéd attempt to play Twilight's OCD for laughs and drama.
I finally got to see the new episode.

As I see Iron Will with the music playing, I went like "that song sounded familiar. Fluttershy becomes Flutterjerk as she brutally yells at everypony. It was depressing as Fluttershy gave up. It's an okay episode and there's no sign of Rainbow Dash unfortunately.
The recent episode was pretty good, but not quite a top-tier episode for me. The animation in this scene really impressed me.

I totally forgot about that scene.

I agree. Something about that one particular scene seems much more smooth and almost emotion-driven than anything I've seen in the show. I wonder why they chose to do it there.

I need to catch up on the latest few episodes. The most recent one I've seen is Read It and Weep.

Good thing the March break is coming up soon, that will give me more than enough time to watch them without constant interruptions with life.

I'm guessing the person in charge of animating that scene was probably testing out new methods, due to the rooms lighting and the blur along with the subtle 3D effect.

If anything, i'm sorta looking forward to how the animation will improve once Season 3 rolls around. I'm pretty certain half the fan-base would have left by then though, the end of Season one came just when the whole community hit it's stride thus keeping it alive till the start of season two. Unless the whole community goes mainstream even more, i doubt this will be the case when the season 2 ends.

Speaking of that, does anyone remember how many episodes Season 2 consists of? It feels like we're getting close to the end (as much as I hate even thinking about it).
