For some reason I thought it started an hour before over here. I literally woke up in a deep panic that I missed it  . I'm extremely exited for this though, I had missed all the Season 1 live streams.

I'm still watching the episode. It's good so far, and i already like Discord more than Nightmare Moon.
It's just me, or Discord is a SAW fan?
e: Already finished. I loved the episode, and especially Fluttershy's part, which was hilarious. Now September 24th seems so far away.

Okay, Discord is an asshole. I know that much. He definitely cheated Fluttershy (she wasn't giving in until he was like "whoops you're mean now"). I realized as soon as it happened to Applejack that he was reversing their personality traits based on the elements, and I got so pissed at him when it happened to Pinkie and Fluttershy. And I literally started to say "no" repeatedly when he took their wings and horns. You can't do that, man. You just can't. I can't wait to see the next episode; I have no idea how they're going to handle Discord now.

I felt so bad for Pinkie Pie at her part. On the contrary, the Fluttershy part had me laughing my ass off. Trolling much?
Fantastic episode. What a great way to start off the second season.

Yes Fluttershy's part was awesome. 'Well Boo-Hoo-Hoo!' with twilight's face #w{ } had me laughing! That was actually a really good idea of reversing their traits. Pinkie Pie acting like that reminded me of episode 25, and Rarity's generosity compelling her to be selfish was great 'I know where you live'. I just wonder what happens with Twilight?

Looking back at the episode, I quite like how most of them were turned by the... bad types of their element.
Applejack - Brutal, painful honesty
Pinkie - Mocking laughter
Dash - Being loyal can require betraying someone else
Rarity - She just gave into greed 
Fluttershy - You can't twist kindness into a bad thing
Except Fluttershy's, none of the elements are perfect virtues. Discord's making them abandon their element by showing them the darker sides of them.

Meh, wasn't he really cheating more on RD's part if anything? It was because of that they "failed" the game.

It wouldn't really make sence if she was "turned" like everyone else by the time she did not have her horn. Who knows, perhaps the magic turns against her, like being transformed or something? My guess is that nothing will happen to her, as someone has to be "unturned" and able to return everyone else back to normal, don't you think? I doubt Celestia will interfere.

Also, Technically Rainbow Dash wasn't turned evil.
After all, it was her loyalty towards Cloudsdale and its inhabitants that she left her friends.

It's a little disheartening how a couple of people are actually complaining about the episode, saying it was "rushed". Sure, it's a lot to fit in a 22 minute span, but I mean really. In this particular case, could the development of Discord's character really have been handled that much character?
Shrug. It's just a personal nitpick regarding some of the comments I've been seeing.

I think it was handled about as well as it could be in 21-22 minutes. Discord is like, really awesome and stuff! Though, I think some of the ponies should have been able to sustain a little more of his style of torment before actually cracking. It seemed like they were a little easy to bring down (except for Fluttershy, obviously!).
I do wonder how exactly things will pan out in the next episode, but I'm almost certain Twilight is going to wreck, seeing as she got her horn back before any sort of trial.
