CMC need some scrappy redemption. They need their cutie marks already, and so they can start developing some personalities beyond "waaah where's our cutie marks!"

I agree with Kaijyuu. You can only go so far with the "how do we get our Cutie Marks" gimmick before it gets tiring, and being that they've already done about three episodes revolved around that...
...but on the other hand, I agree with Sind. Defeating Discord shouldn't be how they get their Cutie Marks

I'm still working my way through the first season, about half way now.
I'm finding that Pinkie Pie's random songs are, for me anyway, more annoying than entertaining. It's not that I dislike her character or her dialogue but..Something about singing within ANY TV show has always bothered me. I don't know why...
Oh and I saw a hate thread on some other site. Made me feel bad for a minute but then I didn't care. I just wish people could stop being stupid about stuff.

If I recall in one of the other episodes, their Cutie Marks are pretty much known from the Talent Show episode, unfortunately they all chose the right gimmick for there show, just not the correct position they should have been playing.
I could be wrong though and I probably am, but meh.

Indeed they did. Sweetie Belle is a great singer and Apple Bloom seems to be good at carpentry. I don't really know about Scootaloo, though.

So I finally got to see an episode of this show. It happens to be the newest episode as well. And honestly, I have to say that it's one of the greatest tv shows this generation. I really like the design of the animation; it looks so smooth and it really appeals to a nostalgic 90's cartoon audience. I am looking forward to seeing how the mane are going to deal with Discord.

Also while I was watching S2EP1, I was thinking if Luna could have gave the elements of harmony to Dischord. I could've misheard a really important line or something because I was watching it on my phone, but yeah.

I actually thought that too, but Celestia said only she could open it or something. I don't know though.

Of course, that's partially because I'm a Luna fanboy, but still :V
Discord is fully able to level an entire garden with a snap of a finger. Some protection Celestia made (without using the elements) is hardly gonna stop him.

I'm expecting Luna to show up at some point in episode 2, but I really hope that's not her only appearance in the season. I mean, after turning good at the end of episode 2 in season 1, she never showed up again.

It's that time again!
Rainbow Dash Mk.II
Pinkie Twinkie... er, Twinkie Pinkie, errr... Pinkie Pie!
So yeah, pony horsey dolly thingies all over the place up in here. These ones are pretty neat if you ask me. Pinkie is made of some very soft and somewhat stretchy material (it feels almost like those fuzzy comforters found in some hotels I think) and her mane/tail is yarn which has been curled in lengths, which took forever to curl as much as was needed for her, but it was worth it! The bounciness and poofiness of the curled up yarn is just fantastic to see in motion. Rainbow just came out looking all around better this time I think, but especially in the styling of the mane. Not much else to say about her!
I also recently got an order for someone's original character, which I would say was very promptly filled out, considering the amount of things we didn't exactly already have layin' around the place. She's very happy with the result too, and that's what really matters to me!
Opinions/etc on the newer dollies?

I really don't think its plausible that Luna would help Discord. Perhaps he will have just "magically" gotten the elements himself?
If Lost has taught me anything, its that TV writers won't cover plot holes/answer questions that they think aren't important- the viewer should just enjoy the ride, not analyze every peice of track on the ride, right?
...Right?

I think I missed it, when was Luna mentioned?
You mean when Celestia mentioned there her and her sister both defeated discord, or was there something bigger than that? Luna didn't particularly jump out at me in that episode as appearing in the next episode.

Gosh guys, don't you know that Luna is on the moon? She won't be in any other episodes except if the mane 6 go to the moon.
Edit: wait no cmc go to the moon because they think they could get there cutie marks or something that would be the best episode ever.
