Well, I've gotten to the second castle and couldn't help but uttering "Damnit, where the hell is one of those god damn Yoshi's?"

So, that pretty much sums it up. can anyone that worked on it tell me what world or even a level as to where you might find a Yoshi?

Thanks in Advance!
I think the first level you can find a Yoshi in is some ice world level... World 4-something. And you lose him pretty quickly. And the Y Counter Break is installed anyways.

Yoshies are rare because everybody seems to think breaking levels in a non-Kaizo hack is terrible for whatever reason.

Edit: Me is dumb.

Oh, thanks. I was hoping that a yoshi would be found in a yoshi themed level of some sort, and what exactly do you mean by "Breaking" levels?
Yoshies can be used to cheat and skip quite a few places. (Blue shells, the Yoshi jump technique, etc.)
Oh! Ok...I wasn't aware of the world of Speedrun tactics with the use of yoshi...now im aware i can examine it and learn to abuse it in the original smw :D haha!
Among a few other levels, you'll find Yoshi in Waterlogged Woods and Bully's Brambles. Both of these stages are in world 7, so it's quite a ways off...but yeah, he DOES exist!
Thanks again!
Without cheating and looking in the ROM itself, these levels all have Yoshis.

(w4) Permafrost Caverns
(w5) Palace Acropolis (well of course I'd know that one)
(w6) The Counterfort
(w7) Waterlogged Woods
(w7) Cave of Elements ("sort of")
(w7) Bully's Brambles

I'm probably missing a few, though. And Yoshi usage will likely be encouraged in SMWCP2.

By the way, why wasn't the Yoshi jump at the beginning of Cave of Elements removed? It's kinda pointless.

It prevented you from bringing a Yoshi into the level.

He's talking more about why not just have the level begin in the cavern part from the getgo, since the only reason the filter was there in the first place was that CBY wasn't patched yet.
Well, while this thread is still active, I can't get the doublegrab down #w{:<}

I can get it once in a blue moon, and it only works when i kick the first item up (remembering it rarely works itself) so if anyone would give me some tips as to where i should grab it or if i put them side by side, at what distance should they be apart?

Thanks!

(By the way, im using a P-switch and a springboard, but that doesn't mean to ignore the other item tips if the springboard and the p-switch don't work! Double Thanks!)
The doublegrab is a glitch and you don't need it for SMWCP, so why do you ask it here?
Well, its a question involving smwcp, is it not? (no offense intended)
I don't see what it has to do with SMWCP.

But anyway, from what I've tried it works best if you run as fast as possible and duck right before grabbing it.
And I think they should stand like two pixels away from each other.
Don't quote me on any of those though.
I've found that it works when the items are two pixels difference in horizontal position, and normal running(not sprinting) speed. It might differ quite a bit, though.

You got your answer, though.

But to extend onto that: the fact that careless things like this were left in just goes to show you how much TLC was put into ASMWCP. Obviously no one cared enough to go back and edit it out of the level after CBY was decided upon.
