Hyper button? They do have some programs for the mouse like that.

Google's not stupid enough to fall for auto clickers. They'll probably make all the clicks void. The reason the ads were taken down in the first place is probably because they thought we were promoting ad clicks or something.

I really don't think one person--even with a hyper clicker--could pull off click fraud on his own. It would take about twenty devoted people to click ads on a level that warrants fraud.
Google is a corporation. Corporations are about either making as much money as possible or losing as little money as possible. It isn't uncommon for underdog people/groups to get shafted by them.

Well, in all fairness, I did see a pretty sudden increase in ad revenue in the months after I first announced that we needed a new server. I think it went up by 4-500%. That does seem a little suspicious.

I personally recall some users endorsing "an ad click a day" or something. I guess some people took it to new extremes?
Or maybe someone set up a bot to do it, for good or evil. Eh.

Sorta offtopic, but since we're talking about ads...
Has anyone here purchased the project wonderful space yet? I purposefully unblocked it in the hopes of seeing some interesting advertisements for hacks and such, but haven't seen anything yet.

It would be interesting to use that space for stuff like advertising hacks, but I think it's illegal and it involves buying an actual website if people actually clicked on it (I don't think posting Youtube Channels will do #w{=P.

It's not illegal, just no one has any monies, or, if they do, they just donate. Tatrion (or was it raibys?) did some ads for Azure's deviantart page or something, but that ended a while ago.

I have some cash to donate, but sadly, I can't manage to get a PayPal account. Are there any other alternatives to donating?

I guess it would be possible to "give" the money to a middle hand so he / she could donate the money in your name, but then you'd need to find a secure middle hand, which is really damn hard.

I think you could also mail the money to Kieran, but Paypal is way more reliable.
