Alright, so it seems like I've hit a record designer's block when it comes to level design recently.
I would like to play a hack that is at least mildly long and has some good level design that can re-inspire me. If you can help me with that, you'd be a life saver.

I'd like a hack that I can zone out to, that is challenging, but not puzzle oriented. I very much appreciate custom music, and the hack called Scorpion's Ravage Bet, or something like that, is just the perfect match for me. Are there any similair to that hack? And thank you in advance.

You all can try my latest one:

I am currently working on a much better one, but MTH1 is a must-play i think

I would like to play a "long" (70+ exits) hack that is gimmicky. However, I have already finished the VIPs, so don't suggest those.
If that's difficult to find, I would like a hard hack that I haven't played yet, so don't suggest these:
- TSRP2
- Kaizo hacks (I find them easily)
- Luigi's Adventure; any version

Yes, check out the demos for Scorpion's Hunt and Hunter's Quest. Those are the direct sequels to The Twilight Gem.

You should try it out.
Already did that one...

Okay.
A hack I would LOVE to play needs 2 of the following.
1. Needs to be LONG. Just about as long as the original SMW. A little bit shorter is okay, and the maximum length doesn't matter.
2. I love comedy so make it a funny one.
If there is no such hack with BOTH of these, then just the second one will do.
Oh, and BTW, difficulty doesn't matter.

I really want to play a hack that feels like it can be a real Mario game.

I want to play a vanilla hack with mixing tilesets and creative level design that could re-inspire me.

Alright, I'm looking for a hack that:
-Has good difficulty and won't require me to abuse savestates
-Is vanilla
-Is long
-and has good level design
I've already played these so don't recommend them:
Return to Dino Land
Rituals of Destruction
The Unworld Recharged
Mario's Amazing Adventure
Gamergull's Version
Title Is Irrelevant

Super Pika Land Ultra might be a good fit. There are very few things in it that aren't from the original game (such as the player graphics), but aside from that, it's entirely vanilla. It also doesn't get particularly difficult until world 6 or thereabouts, so it might be worth a shot.

I would like to play a hack that features levels similar to TSRP2's "Hotel Horror". (That nonlinear level you had to backtrack through a lot to discover new areas and new things to do.) Not many people make levels like this, and that's a shame.

Hacks that come to mind are Buried Treasure and Final Destination, if you haven't played them already. From what I remember about Buried Treasure, it involved backtracking to previous levels once activating certain events in other levels. Final Destination, on the other hand, was one big, non-linear level that advanced as you explored multiple areas and achieved certain goals and missions. You may need to PM S.N.N. for Final Destination as the demo link was removed after the C3 it was released in.
And shameless self-promotion: Super Mario Underworld actually has levels that involve a lot of backtracking as you're finding new items, gathering information, and opening up new areas. Although, the hack is heavily puzzle-based, not sure if it would be to your particular tastes.

I'm looking for a hack with Nintendo-quality level design. It shouldn't be any harder than SMB3. I've hit another Designer's Block, and I need some inspiration, as well as a break from my hack.

How about "Mario's Amazing Adventure" by superwiidude? That hack is fairly easy, and it is quite fun too.
