| Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there. |

I'm trying to edit some custom blocks in my hack, but I don't know how to find them in YYCHR. I can only see the regular game tiles. Is there a part for them, or a way to find the map16 page they are on in YYCHR?

You have to draw your own GFX or use uploaded GFX.
If you mean the custom block like brick block from SMB3 download from blocks section.

I mean where can I find the custom blocks I already have inserted on my map16 page, in YYCHR. Also do you know where the squashed part of the P switch (like after you step on a P switch) is on YYCHR as well? It is not visible really. (I haven't edited the P switch, so it is as it would be on a clean rom)

You can't find your custom blocks in YY-CHR, since they have no own GFX. Like Luigi370 said, you have to draw tiles in YY-CHR and set the custom blocks to look like this (or you could just set them to look like already existing blocks, but for example with a different palette).
Also, the graphic for the pressed P-Switch is in GFX01.

YY-CHR is a graphic program, meaning that you cannot change anything but the graphically appearance of stuff.
To change the attributes of blocks, you have to use Lunar Magic's 16x16 Tile Map Editor, where you can give your custom blocks graphics and set them to act like another tile (but most custom blocks need to be set to act like either 25 (nothing) or 130 (grey cement block) anyway).
