That's sort of the point of this thread. The entire reason I made this thread was so people could come here to see what a certain user looked like, but when people upload their pictures to an unreliable host (or delete them themselves), that kind of ruins the point of this thread.

If you want that to be how this thread works then you'll have to - oh no - download one or two images per day and reupload them somewhere more reliable.
You really shouldn't expect a plethora of other people to take care of this thread, when it's easier accomplished with a single volunteer doing really minor work each day.
Volunteer being you because you made this thread.

And to contribute to the argument: You can't expect everyone to have the same view of this thread in mind, some may just see "Photo Thread" and go "OOOH I HAVE SOME PICTURES OF ME ON SOME SITE I KNOW!" and just slap them on here carelessly. However, if you do want this to become the norm, I'd suggest doing a combination of leod's suggestion, and actually pointing out your wishes within the first post so that people will actually do what you want first time. The old rule of "if you want it done right then do it yourself" applies here.

Alright fine. From now on anyone who doesn't follow EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE RULES will not have their picture added. That's final.
Edit: Sniggerb0bble I'll let that slide since you posted it before I posted the new rules. But ALL future pictures must be shortened before being posted.

Are you honestly that lazy? Even I was rehosting them for you when you refused to do so at the start of the thread. You then didn't even bother to acknowledge my effort, so I deleted all the images and now you're complaining that the links aren't working anymore and you refuse to shorten URLs yourself, a task that takes seconds for you to do, or you won't edit their images in the first post.
What are you, a dictator? This might've been a thread made by you, but you can't just add ridiculous rules to your liking and demand things from users. It's a simple "we post links and you edit the first post". Are you sure you're cut out for a simple job like this?

Are you honestly that lazy? Shortening a URL shouldn't be a problem for you. I'm the one who has to mass shorten these URLs. And even when I offered to link your HTML file in the OP, you said you were too lazy to constantly update it. I've been constantly updating this thread since MARCH. Any thread I've ever seen where things are supposed to be added to the first post have stopped being updated after a month or so. So as soon as someone decides to make an HTML file and constantly update it as soon as new photos are posted, I'll gladly replace everything in the first post with a link to said file. But until then, I'm doing this my way.

If you want to take a picture of yourself in front of the computer with that post showing, then I'll gladly add that to the OP. I'll even shorten the URL for you.

This thread is not a random photo dumping thread. If you're not going to post a real picture of yourself, don't bother posting at all. It makes it a lot easier for me.

Was this really necessary? That's got to be the longest URL I've ever seen for a photo. Did you do that on purpose or did your photo host do that? Either way, that REALLY pisses me off.

If you bitch about this one more time I'm going to go ahead and make the Photo Thread 2.1 in which I will simply copy your first post, but rehost and shorten the images without bitching.
Oh, and when someone (Blumiere) comes along and offers a page just for it (can't be bothered to make one myself as long as the post limit isn't reached) then I'm not going to completely ignore it and later on bitch about how I would have to update it myself, oh no!

I offered to use Blu's page instead of updating it myself. He said he was too lazy to constantly update it, so I decided to keep doing it the way I do it now.
