hey guys i have been making a hack and just need some pointers im no good at overworld so i have kept the original one is this a good starting point for a new hacker im no good at putting in fg and bg so i have kept the originals as well all i can do is put in some custom sprites and also custom music and i also create my own levels in lunar magic so is this a good start with my hack if not can some give me some pointers thanks

A custom overworld is a must for a quality hack. You could always ask someone to create the overworld for you. If you want me to do it just tell me what you want on it, what the themes of the worlds are, what should be on the submaps, how many levels in each world etcetera. Post it in this thread or send me a PM.

to easily make a custom overworld, i suggest the ips patches under patches section, for SMB3 overworld.
The tiles are so simple. And it gives the hack a very classic feel. I love it.
