I'm glad that you liked the level.

Anyway, this time I'm posting a sort of tech-demo for my hack.
Tech-Demo

The video contains:
Ledge vine, 1-way block(based on Ramp202), and pause menu.
For the pause menu, I was going to use the 'Pause Menu' patch, but it was not cmpatible with vwf patch, so I decided to make it with vwf dialogues. Hope you like it.


ps: I also put custom palette in level 1 that almost everyone told me to.

pps: Music in level 1 is Sand Canyon 1 from Kirby's Dream Land 3

Dude... I love the pause menu. I am not sure if I have seen this before, no? If not, and you have created that, then awesome job there!
What you've shown so far looks pretty fantastic and you have a lot of potential to make a great hack. The first level has pretty amazing use of vanilla graphics and the level design looks really good too. I don't really have any complaints with the level so far.

They both work perfectly fine together for me, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyway, the way you've set up a pause menu using the VWF patch is pretty unique and interesting, I never really thought of that. Not sure what the purpose of the suicide option is though and I don't know why people include it in their pause menus. :P

Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to see some more stuff from this hack. It looks very promising. :)
Oh wow, I just LOVE that Pause Menu. I like the idea of giving the player a tip about the level.

This is the second level of world 1 named Think fast!.
It's night time level, and you can't stop running.

Okay I'm not sure what happened but the music is only playing one track. I thought it was the recording but it kinda messed up on my version of the hack... If anyone knows what the problem is by any chance, we'd appreciate your help

Oh, that looks nice. I like the level, even though you have to 'hurry up'.

However, there needs to be more enemies. And more decoration. It's looking a little bland compared to the first level, which was amazing by the way.

Whoa..that is some crazy level design. For the first level it looks great but I feel like they way you used walk-through dirt and walls it could be a little confusing.
Hey guys, I have some bad news regarding a certain hack and a certain error that may have something to do with a blue background... yeah... So until we get THAT figured out, I'll see what I can salvage as presentable content.
