As you can see on the levels like lockjaws locker the background messes up when you mess with the tide so I have come to the conclusion that the tides are an HDMA effect.

Cave Story hacking what.
I made this character to replace Quote in my hack, it's obviously a common surface robot.

You have some neat players there, Maruhai. Cave Story hacking seems to be cool.

The main character of my Cave Story hack (yes, I can hack Cave Story like Maruhai):

Also... I was originally going to use an uncommon looking Surface Robot but I decided not to...:

Your one is just like Maruhai's: very neat. Great work.

Since Dangus likes Cave Story hacking I decided to take this screen.

A group of friendly Critters il their house.
They have basically nothing important to say at this point of the game.

I don't really "hack" Cave Story, but I like to see what people do to hack different games, like this one. Anyway, Critters are cute, and the bed is cool.

The first boss(es) in my Cave Story hack. Also in the picture I forgot to get a gun. :/
(I didn't steal the robots from Maruhai. They were originally in Cave Story.)

I don't think I show off my hack often enough here.

While traversing though Magna Ministry Zone, Sonic and Tails find a monitor in a crook.

Tails flies up to the platform while Sonic cheats his way up with a spring!

Of course, being the badass he is, Knuckles takes aim and heads towards the core of the Zone.

To prove this, he bashes up a Slicer.

Later on, being the genius he is, Tails finds Eggman's base and starts infiltrating the Egg Nucleus Zone.

Gee, I hope he lands alright..

In the second act, Sonic and Tails find themselves inside Eggman's cargo bay. There are zip-tubes, and when you go in..

..you come out at the Speed of Sound! Just watch out for those Asterons!

Knuckles is still outside however. What a nitwit!

Fortunately, he found Eggman preparing his escape to the next Zone, the..

Egg Core Zone! Sonic decides to take Eggman on, once and for all, by eliminating Silver Sonic!

Oh come on, stop being a coward and destroy that mecha!
Additionally, there's a video to complement these screenshots:

Nice custom Curly idea Meirdent, it was clever (especially the "Mimigas", they're now like reactivated robots).

That looks amazing, DalekSam! I've wanted to hack Sonic 2 for the longest time, but I've always found it so complicated. Oh well...

Hey, that is awesome. I see you put custom music - I heard there some themes like MM9's We're the Robots and MM2's boss fight. Incredible work, DalekSam.

I also don't feel like I post my hack enough here. If you want to follow my hack, I post about my hack frequently here:Alternate Realty Mario 64

Although it's a bit outdated since I've already done many things with it.

@vinnyboiler:You can add some enemies, it seems a bit too empty. Also, place Mario's initial position in a solid place, the position you put isn't alright. It isn't bad overall.
@Yoshi-Fan GM: Some parts are similar to the original, but it looks fine.

@Vinnyboiler
For the boss, see how the Big Bob-Omb works first. If he's defeatable, but doesn't register being thrown outside the arena, then put him in that chamber and add damaging spikes around the side (Since the arena looks misshapen), then he'll be out of the way. It all depends on what you can get the bosses to do.
And I agree that the starting position is in a bad place. Put it on the corner of the stairs (0:15) or something.

@Wiimeiser
Thanks, that sounds like a good Idea
BTW this is my latest level,
<object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YgacVDkL9OM?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YgacVDkL9OM?fs=1&hl=en_US&hd=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
Altogether I now have 4 main levels, 2 sub levels and a Hub. I think I should have enough to to stat thinking on creating a demo

Hmm Vinny, it sounds like an interesting idea, but it would be sometimes hard to know where you are going. If possible, add some shading to the sides of stairs and such. I actually thought the water was Grey land. Anyway, I hope you renovate it, and then show on here what it looks like, ok?

I worked a bit more on my block Fort level.
<object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JuOYKhiwIQk?fs=1&hl=en_US&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JuOYKhiwIQk?fs=1&hl=en_US&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
My hack is going well but I'm not ready to give up making new levels.
I've made 6 levels so far, that's 42 stars, I also made 4 sub-worlds (including my HUB) that bring my star total up to about 50 stars. But like I said, I'm still not giving up creating new fresh levels so expect a lot more of me.
