Looking awesome, vinnyboiler! I like the fact that it's very open and there are many places to explore.
On an unrelated note, the 2nd Koopa the Quick race in the original SM64 was very hard when I di'nt know some techniques.

Well it's time that I show off another level
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2kM2gMJ0pwQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2kM2gMJ0pwQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
I'm still deciding on whether or not I should include this level in my hack. The object placement is still not final if this level will be my hack. Opinions will be helpful

I say keep it. If you think it's not big enough for a proper level, then make it a sublevel.

The thing is, is that I already have a good 6 stars for the level. It wouldn't make sense to have it as a sublevel with it having just as much stars as a regular level

I meant, only downgrade it to a sublevel if you can't think of enough stars to put in.

What my problem is with the level is that I think it's not as good as my other levels.
Their a bit of the level that I didn't include in that last video.

Really nice! I used to hack SML2 too. Treeki has made a spectacular overworld editor, although it doesn't support paths (but neither does MooJelly, right?).
I've got some notes on SML2, including an almost complete document of the overworld paths. They're available here. Hope they help.

I'm sorry for being a bit of a n00b lately (I'll try to refrain posting anywhere apart from here and C3).
This is my newest desert themed level that's going to be in my hack. Any names for this level will be grateful

Pretty awesome Vinny. As for a name, why not try something along the lines of "Sand Sea," As there is quite a bit of water in that level.
You could also try something like "Egypt Escapades," or even "Ancient Valley." HtH

Cool levels Vinny
I have a idea for one of your next levels, how about making a level based off the Chai Kingdom from Super Mario Land?
Also, maybe you should start a new thread instead of keep on posting on posting in this thread (Half the posts here are related to your hack anyway)

I actually kinda like the name Egypt Escapades Thanks for suggesting it.

That might be a bit too hard to pull off (SML don't really have much in the way of scenery) but I am working on a SM64 hack related on the Mario Land titles for the next C3 (I work too hard )

Well, I haven't really got the stage yet where I can really show off my hack (Object placement isn't final/existent, no cool asm hacks, no custom music and I haven't even begun placing the levels in the same ROM ). Maybe when I finish planning out the rest of the 15 levels, I can get a thread up

Yup Im hacking NSMB DS.
Gotta say it took me abit to get used to the latest editor but its worth in the end as I can play the hack on my R4, Which is my reason for hacking this.
I tried to make this harder than the orignal. Also the level screen shows my BG choices, which give a sunset feel.

Looks very nice, 1UPdudes. Now, I'm not familiar with NSMB, so how did you make the level have a sunset feel? Did you edit the graphics, or does the game have a list of palettes to choose from?
Just another reason I need to buy an R4i.

I just changed the BG to one that was used in the desert cloud stage.

I took the graphics from the NES hong-kong pirate of Super Mario World and put them in the Mario Bros. game, seems like a simple hack. I also changed palettes of the bros, but because Luigi shares the same palette as the green turtles I had to change them as well.

This is a screenshot of a Kirby's Adventure hack that I'm making. I just ported over all of Kirby Super Star's power icons to the original Kirby's Adventure game and it turned out quite nicely and nostalgic!

@vinnyboiler: You're very welcome, just keep up the great work.
@1UPdudes: seems nice
@CzarTheDragon: Pretty strange yet unique.
@Snowshoe: Kool looking MarioBros Hack, and nice work on the nostalgic kirby.
In other news, a preview of the changes I've done to Link's Story: The Quest for Zelda is soon to come.
Edit: It's here!

This is my latest level I've been working on, this is not my attempt at creating a space themed level, but more or less a SMG themed level.
<object width="640" height="510"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dvA-017Et0A?fs=1&hl=en_GB&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dvA-017Et0A?fs=1&hl=en_GB&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="510"></embed></object>
I have been working on other levels since my last post but I thought I show this specific level as it follows feedback from Frauber who told me to try and start of with small detailed parts, and then add upon them until the level feels complete (which I did ).
