Tip: When you're about to release your hack, make a patch first, patch it to a clean ROM, and then test that. This way, you are testing both the hack AND the patch.

Just two simple pictures of my new LoLo's Adventure 3 hack.
St Vincent's Church

Yet another SM64 level for ya all. This level is called "St Vincent's Church", and it's one of the snow themed level in my hack. I'm still working out camera problems on this one but I thought I'd show what I have already as to get some feedback.
^ All the white makes it look distracting. But nice job on the level, especially considering it's SM64.

Deep Valley Route

A Firered hack map.
Man this thread needs some more love #w{<3}

I guess I should post a Youtube video of my C3 hack. LINK TO YOUTUBE VIDEO

As always, you can download it here: Monochrome Mario 64

Instructions:
1) Download an US SM64 ROM off the internet. (Sorry no linky)
2) Open the "C3 2011" folder and then the folder called "M64ROMExtender1.3b"
3) Open the file called "M64ROMExtender1.3b.exe"
4) Click on "Open Rom" and select your SM64 Rom
5) Wait
6) Now you should see a second file that ends in "ext.z64". Drag that into "rom_expand.exe".
7) Finally, just open ppf-o-matic and patch the your ROM with "MonochromeMario64.ppf"
10204307: Pretty cool map, keep it up.

vinnyboiler: You're right about this thread needing more love, I would help support, but I'm currently on a hacking break. Also, your Monochrome Mario 64 seems interesting. Pretty Cool I say.
Here are some more pictures of my Adventure's of LoLo 3 hack.

Interesting, Good to see you're still at work on it.
I am working on a Super Metroid Kaizo hack. I have modified the boss fights in stupidly cruel ways.

This fight requires a perfectly timed rhythm of grapple beam swinging plus super missile shooting. It is probably impossible w/o taking damage, so you might have to constantly swing toward Crocomire, shoot when his mouth is open, run into him, and then use invincibility frames to jump up from the spikes (you take more damage from spikes than from Crocomire himself). I probably will not even give you the power bomb, unless maybe I can somehow force the player to use one in a room with Crocomire.

EDIT: Apparently it is possible w/o taking damage. Maybe I need to somehow make the spikes and Crocomire's fireballs kill Samus in one hit?

Lern2walljump. Also, you probably will not actually have this many super missiles by this point.

If you're not careful, you will fall through the crumbling floor and struggle in vain as the lava boils Samus alive. If you jump off of a crumbling floor AS SOON AS you land on it, you'll be okay. This boss has not been fully tested yet. Also, you will not have space jump.

Oh God! I doubt I would be able to pull any of these boss battles off now!
Gosh, this is great!.. If you're into Kaizo stuff n'all. Pretty Cool.

Edit: The Kabu has Arrived!

I'm still working on the bridge. After this level is finished, I'm going to think about starting afresh with a new SM64 ROM since the current ROM I'm working with is cluttered with bugs.
vinny: Is this a sort of elemental area or something? Either way, it looks really nice!

P.S. Boy doesn't this place get forget by most people :<

Yup, it's a Desert Lava land in one area, and a Water Grass land in the other area. I'm going to put 4 warp pipes like in THI cross between them. I'm still wondering what to call the level.

Since I'm posting here, I might as well post some more pics:

Once I'm done with my hack then I might make it my personal mission to increase the activity here #w{=P}

Well I re-uploaded it anyway, hopefully that fixes it. :)
vinny: Those areas look cool. Good job.

I wish you luck on your mission! Because this place REALLY needs more of a crowd.
It usually ends up being the same 5 or 10 people around here.
More screens from my insane Super Metroid hack (which is almost at a stand still right now).

One hit from that enemy...

leads to death. Also, what value should I use to make it immune to every attack? I was gonna make the acid insta-kill also, but I also have another segment where you must run through acid before you die. Hmmm. I'll find a way.

Bomb jump plus heated room plus no Varia suit plus no room for error. Lovely.

Yeah, I'm not gonna include that. I was just kinda messin around, and I was gonna see if I could do something else with Crocomire, but I didn't know what I was doing. Replacing Phantoon with Crocomire wasn't the best of ideas. I also changed the room's dimensions, which may have caused some of the glitchyness.

Yes, I expect you to walljump up a spike wall.

This part is really insane and probably requires slowdown. Take a hit from the spikes and do the speed ball (or mockball? Whichever one doesn't require the speed booster) glitch and get past that enemy before your invincibility frames wear off since I made it so that enemy kills you in one hit.

Kaizokoban: Difficult much? Oh well, it is Kaizo afterall. Seems to me your project is going swell.
I doubt I could get far at all in it though. I wish you luck on your project.

Recent short-term project!
Hey guy's, I'm going back to college so I thought I'd upload these pics of levels I'm currently working on since I wont get that much time to make them look nicer:

I love how differently these levels clash #w{=P}
