This is the output produced by a MML->Mario64/Zelda64/early-nintendo sequence format I'm working on. It's basically a modified version of Addmusic (with all the SMW stuff stripped out):

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4PfaAd0vkSg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4PfaAd0vkSg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Woah. An addmusic for sm64? Thats gunna be sweet. I wonder what else youve been working on...
ZOMG that's awesome dude! Keep up the good work, I like what you've done.
That is very good but you forgot to space out the music../.

Thanks to Ersan's incredible find, I was able to edit the pause screen from SMAS SMB1. :D (Better than nothing, after all)
Ops, I discovered that I misunderstood some of the rest-related code of Addmusic. The importer is running a bit better now:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nmbTBuqI4Pk&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nmbTBuqI4Pk&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Ha, that's quite an awesome job there messiaen! Is that little tune you used in the "Cool, Cool Mountain" video used in a different game? I could almost swear I recognize it even though all of the samples are identical.
It's the "Forest" theme from Snake's Revenge (NES).

Here are some SMW songs.

You can insert custom sequences using this simple tool I've wrote: Mario 64 Sequence Inserter.

1 level Gimmick! hack. Probably won't turn into a full hack, but who knows...

Oooo. What game is that? It looks like fun.

The game is named "Gimmick!".
Hurr. (European release was "Mr. Gimmick!", US had no release.)

Boing so got me interested in hacking this game
The physics kick ass, the character's cute, the music is pleasant, and the game is fun :D
perfect game to hack.
What is that your level is a train wreck.

So I decided to make mine until a full hack. Nice change of pace from SMW.

Title screen. Since the hack is simply redesigning all the levels, I kept the name simple. Gimmick! Redux.

Level 2:

Rather than being about a Pirate ship, this level is now about a pirate cove, or base, or whatever you want to think of it as.
My level 2[now finished] is also no longer a pirate ship.
now it is more like a beached ship/base combo.

Entering the hillside base.

After a small trip through the basement, you can head on up in.

A partially submerged portion of the ship.

The storage hull. Black blobs run about, organizing cannonballs.

And since I'm a tease, thats all you get to see for now.

Edit/FootNote: I HATE JPEGS ASDF EDIT 2:YAY BACK TO PNGS NAO

(Not an ingame shot, just a shot from the editor.)

ITS A KAIZO TRAP OH NOEZ
You need invincibility and rings to win. (Rings because of D: glitch that hurts you at the last spike.) Or else you are greeted by... a weird purple glitch which is actually the giant ring.

The big glitchy fuck at the bottom left is lava, doesn't look normal in the editor. :|

THE FLOATING SPIKES THEY BURN

Well, not as much as the garbled GFX in the bottom left do, but still.

EDIT: O GOD 666 POSTS

If you're gonna do that at least have a floor for which the spikes can rest on. Find a tile so that the spikes aren't floating in mid-air.
