Elevator + Sprite interaction

How come whenever I have Jimmy52905's elevator generator moving upwards, the sprites do not get affected? Like if the elevator is going up, Mario gets carried up while he's standing on it, but when a sprite should be carried up with Mario, it instead just morphs through the elevator floor and doesn't get carried with him. The sprites do not interact with layer 2.

The floor acts like tile 130, and no sprite buoyancy boxes are selected.
Level mode 08 is being used so layer 2 interaction is set to 'Yes'.

I don't know if the elevator is a sprite or layer 2, but if it's the latter, find a way to enable L2 interaction.

There is a creative person inside of us all... somewhere. I killed mine long ago.
Check if the second sprite buoyancy option is enabled. If so, uncheck it.

Is it a sprite or is the elevator layer 2? That could be the big difference.

The elevator is layer 2.
